A: The decimal goes to the right 1004.7
Q: What happens when you divide by 10?
A: The decimal moves to the left 1.047
-Read & write multi-digit whole numbers to the millions using words, expanded form &
number
form:

Note: By just looking at you know that a) you have to add first b) Whatever the sum is
your final answer is going to by 3x the sum.
-The value of each place value either multiplies by 10 to the left or divides by 10 to
right.
-Multiplication & division whole numbers 4 digits by 2 digits Illustrate draw a picture
and explain using equations, rectangular arrays &/or area models.
-Multiply & divide decimals to the 100th place using concrete (manipulatives) models
or drawings.
-Relate the strategy used to a written explanation.
