Sickle Cell Disease Pain Management Service Living with frequent or ongoing pain? Want to know more about it? Come along to our workshop! We are running education workshops for people with sickle cell disease who are living with frequent or ongoing pain. The workshops are a chance to understand more about what happens in the body when you have persistent pain and some ideas about what might help you to cope with this. Feedback we have received suggests that people who have attended previous workshops have found it helpful. The Session will be run by: Dr Jenna Love - the Clinical Psychologist working in the Sickle Cell Disease pain management programme Dr Penelope Cream - the Clinical Psychologist working in Sickle Cell Disease Dr Elizabeth Rhodes - the Consultant Haematologist working in Sickle Cell Disease You are very welcome to bring a friend or family member with you, so they can also learn about the pain you experience. This is a new service, and we would like as many people to have the opportunity to attend as possible. The sessions run for an afternoon, at St Georges Hospital, with tea and coffee provided.
