DJ and Classical Music? Coral on the dance floor? Orchestra and a maestro
performing together with a battery of samba percussionists? This combination,
apparently unthinkable, exists. And the best news: it works! The features listed
above are the Groove Allegro, an innovative concept of composition and
presentation that unites different backgrounds in a real mix of music, where
creativity and experimentation are completed perfectly with light and visuals effects
on a thrilling show.
Created by DJ Claudinho RS, from Groove Samba, and Maestro Renato Misiuk, from
the Allegro Choir and Orchestra, Groove Allegro is much more than a sophisticated
combination of sounds, rhythms and instruments that are separated by historical
social and cultural issues - as opera, popular music and the latest electronic music.
A pioneer in this kind of experimentation, Groove Allegro has the intention of
bringing "musical distant worlds" on sophisticated presentations that will appeal to
all audiences.
For all tastes
Classics of Vivaldi e Carl Orff, among others, accompanied by bass drum,
tambourine, drum and by all the contagious beat of samba percussionists. Add to
instrumentalists of most Brazilian rhythms the precision of the maestro and the
players of symphony orchestra, the vitality and energy of the DJ and the sublime
and well-pitched voices of the choir. Now you have the recipe for Groove
Allegro´s success.
However, who thinks that the presentations of Groove Allegro are directed only to
those who want to see and hear a new look to the classics of Classical Music is
totally wrong. The experimentation of the group covers different rhythms, with a
repertoire filled with successes of national and international music. You could say
that every part of the set (percussionists, orchestra, choir and DJ) has its music to
represent it during the show.
With great aplomb and creativity, Groove Allegro walks through different styles
such as Classical, MPB, House and even the Black Music. This new presentation
adapts to social and corporate events. Presentations at parks and entertainment
places. Shows last an average of 40 to 60 minutes.
Groove Allegro has performed at major events in 2010 and 2011. Among the
most striking events, we could mention Sala Sao Paulo, Citibank Hall, Credicard Hall
and the opening show of the Jota Quest group at Parque da Independência, in São
Paulo.
