Please note all competitors must acquaint themselves with the rules of the SSAD Ltd found at www.seniorshowinganddressage.co.uk. No spurs, galloping or wearing of face/body jewellery is permitted. Foals are not permitted. Minimum age for handler in hand classes is 9yrs. Minimum age of handlers for stallions in hand- ridden competitors must be over 16 yrs. of age. Competitors cannot enter the ring once the command has been given to trot. Qualification cards will be handed out in the ring at the time of presentation. At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Garstang Rd/A6 heading to Garstang. At the traffic lights turn right at Whittingham Lane (B5269) (Burlingtons restaurant on junction). Follow the B5269 for approx. 5 miles until you come to Longridge. At the mini roundabout go straight over and follow road for approx. 1 mile – show entrance is on the right hand side on the B6243 just after the sign reading Hothersall. From the M6 South – At junction 31a, take the B6242 exit to Longridge. At the roundabout take the 1st exit onto Bluebell Way/B6242 heading to Longridge/B6243. At the roundabout take 3rd exit onto B6242 heading to Longridge /B6243. At the roundabout, take 1st exit onto Longridge Rd/B6243 – continue for approx. 4 miles, pass over 1 roundabout. As you approach Longridge, you come to a mini roundabout (Old Oak Pub in front of you)–keep right at roundabout and follow road to T junction at end. Turn right at the T junction and show ground is on the right hand side on the B6243 just after the sign reading Hothersall. From A59 Clitheroe – At traffic lights turn right at Ribchester Road /B6245 Follow the B6245 into the centre of Ribchester and turn right at the T Junction. Follow the road for approx. 2 miles towards Longridge, after you pass the Corporation Arms the show is on the left hand side. From A59 Preston – Follow A59 through Preston, continue onto the Ring Way /A6. Take a left at Church Street, continue along Ribbleton Lane B6243 for approx. 2 miles- at the roundabout keep right on the B6243. At the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Longridge Road/B6243. Continue for approx. 4 miles, pass over 1 roundabout. As you approach Longridge, you come to a mini roundabout (Old Oak Pub in front of you) – keep right at roundabout and follow road to T junction at end. Turn right at the T junction and show ground is on the right hand side on the B6243 just after the sign reading Hothersall.
