THERAPEUTIC ROOF GARDEN APPEAL The Rev James Falconer, Health Care
Chaplain, has written to all churches seeking support to establish a Therapeutic Roof
Garden at Aberdeen Royal infirmary. Mr Falconer has written as follows “We are
planning a beautiful Therapeutic Roof Garden for patients at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary
and we would love your support! Many patients spend a week, a fortnight, or many
months at ARI receiving the care they need. During that time, we would like to
complement that care with the gift of nature. The roof garden is being designed for
patients and relatives to enjoy fresh air, and the sights, sounds and scents of plants and
flowers. Please help sow the seeds of this special project.”
In response to the appeal the Kirk Session has decided that there will be a retiring
offering after worship on Sunday 14th April.
