I take my umbrella, put on my raincoat and rain boots to go out in the rain. I see a lot of puddles on the street and splash them. The water splashes on my body. I get wet but it’s really fun. Then it stops raining. The sun shines in the sky. I see a rainbow in the sky. It’s so beautiful! 5. 6. Encourage pupils to read the rhymes in Copymaster 2, drawing their attention to the letter p and its phonic sound. Teachers can replay that segment in the programme and ask pupils to read along with the actors. In Part 2b, ask pupils to try replacing the letter p with the letter b and read out the words. This exercise can turn into a phonic game in which pupils try to replace the first letter with a different consonant and read out the words themselves. Part 3b is a creative writing exercise in which pupils try to write their poem based on the model in Part 3a. Pupils can begin by reading the poem given aloud.
