Home Automation: TELETASK Rain detector-meter (TDS12285)
TELETASK introduces a high quality optical
rain detector-meter. When used as a detector it
warns of precipitation. This is, for example,
used to automatically close an electric skylight
window. Used as a meter, it precisely measures
the amount of rainfall. This allows a touch
screen, such as the TELETASK AURUS-TFT or
MAIOR to show you just how much rainfall has
fallen down. It gives you a summary of the rain
of today or yesterday, and this last week, and
this last month, and even the current and
previous year ...
The rain detector-meter can withstand harsh
weather conditions and because of its optical
principle it is maintenance free.
On top of that, a light sensor is built-in. This
allows automatic blind control based both on
rainfall and light intensity. Is it getting dark or
does it start to rain? The TELETASK system
will, if you wish, retract your sun blinds.
