The AV equipment comprises of ceiling mounted projector onto wall
coated with screen projector paint, two wall mounted TV’s, sound
system, cables and access for PC and IPod input all operated via wall
mounted controls panels plus two cordless microphones on charger.
There is a noise control device installed within the venue (see
separate notes). A hearing augmentation system is installed for the
hearing impaired.

Suitable for meetings or small gatherings

TERMS OF HIRE
Excessively loud noise of any kind is prohibited in any area within the premises including the
car park. A noise control device has been fitted (see Noise Control information). Any noise
(DJ/Band) must be kept to a reasonable level or the control device will cut power for 20
seconds to the stage area if noise exceeds a predetermined level for more than 4 seconds
(lighting and other power will not be affected).

The premises are to be left clean and tidy and all waste placed in the bins provided in
the bin compound outside the venue (see floor plan).
2.
Tables and chairs wiped down and returned to storage areas where necessary.
3.
Kitchen cleaned and all drinks and/or food spills mopped and/or swept up with
equipment provided. Ensure that all appliances used are cleaned and turned off.
4.
All music, amplified or live, must cease at 12.00am and venue vacated at 1.00am. A
noise control device is installed in Area 1 which will ensure that the noise within the
venue is kept to a reasonable level.
5.
The hire fee does not include the use of any crockery or cutlery, cleaning products or
linen.
6.
Cooking outside of the kitchen is not permitted.
7.
No smoking within the hall, kitchen, bar, foyer and toilet areas.
8.
Use of sticky tape, thumb tacks, Blutac and/or such material which may cause damage
to wall and/or surfaces is strictly prohibited.
9.
No jumping castles in our around the venue.
10.
Heating/cooling turned off, lights off and doors secured. When the building is armed the
lights automatically turn off. Ensure that building is secure and alarm is armed before
leaving the premises.
11.
Do not allow children to play on the wheelchair access lift to the stage. The lift can only
be operated by key which is only available on request at the time of booking the venue.
Failure to meet the above terms of hire may result in full or partial loss of the bond
paid.

congregating at the rear of the premises.
7.

8.
Jumping castles are only to be erected on the garden area outside the hall. No jumping
castles are to be erected within the hall or carpark area.

TERMS OF HIRE
1.
No music or function is to continue after 12.00am. Power turns off at 12.00am – but not
lights. Cleaning of the premises is to be completed by 1.00am. Please ensure that the
front door is closed, secured and locked with the key. The alarm must be set.
This venue is fitted with an alarm which must be disarmed when entering and rearmed
when leaving before locking the doors. A code will be supplied at the time of collection
of the keys.
2.
The premises are to be left clean and tidy and all waste placed in the bins provided
outside the hall. Tables and chairs wiped down, kitchen cleaned and all drinks and/or
food spills mopped and/or swept up with equipment provided. All tables and chairs
returned to storage areas.
3.
The hire fee does not include the use of any crockery or cutlery, cleaning products or
linen.
4.
All equipment must be vacated from the premises by 1.00am. The hire fee does not
include next day for clean up.
5.
No cooking can occur outside of the kitchen unless using the BBQ shelter provided next
to the Hall. Foxfield Oval Hall is in the Mount Lofty Ranges Fire Ban District, therefore,
when a total fire ban is declared both gas and electric applicances must not be used.
Important information in relation to the Foxfield Oval Hall BBQ Area under the
provisions of the Fire and Emergency Services Regulations
34—Special provisions relating to gas and electric cooking appliances
(1) For the purposes of section 79(2) of the Act, a person may operate a gas fire or
electric
element for cooking purposes in the open air during the fire danger season, provided
that—
(a) the space immediately around and above the gas fire or electric element is
cleared of all flammable material to a distance of at least 4 metres; and
(b) a person who is able to control the gas fire or electric element is present at all
times while it is lighted or charged; and
(c) an appropriate agent adequate to extinguish a fire is at hand
(2) For the purposes of section 80(4)(a) of the Act, a person may operate a gas fire or
electric element for cooking purposes in the open air contrary to the terms of a total
fire ban, provided that—
(a) the gas fire or electric element is used within 15 metres of domestic premises,
or on the foreshore; and
(b) the space immediately around and above the gas fire or electric element is
cleared of all flammable material to a distance of at least 4 metres; and
(c) a person who is able to control the gas fire or electric element is present at all
times while it is lighted or charged; and
(d) an appropriate agent adequate to extinguish a fire is at hand. A suitable fire
extinguisher must be supplied by the hirer and be on hand at all times.
6.
No smoking allowed on the premises including toilets.
7.
No confetti is to be used in or around the premises.
8.
Use of sticky tape, thumb tacks, Blutac and/or such material which may cause damage
to the wall and/or floor surface is strictly prohibited.
9.
Vehicles of any description are not permitted on the oval area without written
permission.
10.
Use of the oval is not permitted without a hire permit (there are extra fees involved for
hire of the oval). For use to erect jumping castles or marquee/shelters permission must
be sought.
Failure to meet the above terms of hire may result in full or partial loss of the bond
paid.
