In consideration for the payment of the warranty fee, and subject to the exceptions,
terms, conditions and limitations listed below, the Furpurrsons Pet Resort will pay
for veterinary care provided by a licensed Veterinarian for the care or treatment of
the boarded pet listed above for sickness or injury of the pet incurred while the pet
is/was boarding at the Furpurrsons Pet Resort, up to the maximum stated above.

PROGRAM DETAILS
The Furpurrsons Healthy Pet Warranty program offers you peace of mind. You
can be assured that your pet will receive timely, professional veterinary care,
should the need arise, for any injury or illness incurred while boarding with us at
no additional cost to you. Your pet will be seen, if needed by the Black Butte
Veterinary Hospital next door to our facility.
Please be advised that not all pets are eligible for this program. Puppies and kittens
under 16 weeks of age will not be covered by this warranty due to the incubation
periods of some contagious diseases of young animals.
As with most warranties there are some exceptions to this coverage. The
program does not cover:
 Any pre-existing health conditions
 Distemper, parvovirus or bordatella infection in a pet whose vaccinations
were not current and boosted at least 7 days prior to check in or when
requested by the owner that annual titer testing results be used in lieu of
vaccinations. Please see back for additional exclusions to vaccinations.
 Injury, illness or death when pets boarded together at the owner’s request
take action against one another.

Canine cough and canine influenza are airborne viruses and can be contracted by
your dog by contact with ANY other dog in ANY other setting, even from a
neighbor’s dog that wasn’t vaccinated for the viruses. Because of the nature and
virulence of airborne viruses including canine (kennel) cough and canine influenza
there must be a definitive diagnosis by a Veterinarian as well as at least one other
documented case in this facility from the time period that your pet was boarded
with us. If no other cases occur and reasonable doubt exists to where the virus was
obtained by your pet, we may still cover the initial exam fee. This will apply to all
dogs staying in this facility for any duration less than 7 days.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
This coverage shall be effective and binding on the Furpurrsons Pet Resort if
the owner complies with each of the following conditions:
1. In the event that the pet requires on-going treatment after its owner has
taken possession of the pet, the pet owner hereby agrees to authorize
his/her veterinarian to forward a copy of diagnosis and treatment history
to the Furpurrsons Pet Resort. Such records will be requested before any
claim is paid.
2. Reimbursement under this certificate shall be the Furpurrsons Pet Resort
maximum liability and any monies paid by the Furpurrsons Pet Resort
will be to the owner after they pay their Veterinary expenses in full.
3. The Furpurrsons Pet Resort, at its own expense, shall have the right and
opportunity to examine any covered pet whose injury or illness is the
basis of any claim.
Any and all original claims under this warranty must be submitted within
seven(7) days after the Furpurrsons Pet Resort relinquishes care, custody or
control of the pet to the pet owner, together with the documentation
satisfactory to the Furpurrsons Pet Resort. This coverage is the pet owner’s
exclusive remedy in the event of any claim for illness, injury or medical care
for a covered pet. Pet owner shall remain responsible for all charges exceeding
the maximum coverage amount.
