Carol Leifer spoke at our largest annual fundraiser last week. It is a sit-down dinner for 450 Jewish
women, ages 16-96, to raise awareness and support of Jewish Federation programs. Carol
accomplished the impossible: she found a way to entertain ALL of these women without getting
a single complaint! You could hear a pin drop in the room while she spoke (a rare occurrence in
such a large crowd) and fierce laughter following her numerous funny lines. She managed to
speak to the room as if it was filled with her closest friends – letting them in on her interesting life
