Dear Parent / Carer,
‘Pirates of the Curry Bean’ – Ticket News!
I am writing to inform you that tickets are now available for this year’s Christmas production of
‘Pirates of the Curry Bean’, performed by children in Key Stage 2.
We will be performing the show at three different times (shown below) to ensure that as many people as possible will be able to come and support us. Tickets will cost £1.00 each and as usual, each family will be allowed a maximum of 2 tickets. This is due to safety restrictions on the numbers of people allowed in the school hall.
If any family requires more than two tickets, please write this on the bottom of the form below next to the performance you require them for. A list will be kept and any spare tickets will be released on Monday 9 th December on a first come - first served basis. We have found generally that there are usually more spare tickets available for the afternoon performance.
Please note: there will be fewer ‘spare tickets’ available this year due to the staging of the performance and with all of the pupils in KS2 being in the hall throughout the show.
All children will be required to attend each performance of the show and will need to arrive at school at 5:45pm on Wednesday 11 th and Thursday 12 th December. This is especially important for all children in Years 5 and 6 as they all have speaking parts this year. We consider participation in the Christmas show as an integral part of your child’s education. If children miss the evening performances then it can affect the quality of the production that all the children have tried hard to rehearse for.
Evening performances will begin at 6:00pm and end at 7:15pm.
Finally, you will receive a costume list and permission form to attend the evening performances shortly. Children will need to bring their costumes into school in a clearly labelled bag no later than Monday 9 th December.
