SHOW RULES
Any abusive language or behaviour towards show officials animals or fellow competitors will result in expulsion
from the showground and by entering this show you agree to abide by the following
1.
No refunds of cancellation of entry fees are permitted.
2.
This show is not open to the public, and is run in accordance with the Baston South Lincolnshire Show Health & Safety
and Child & Vulnerable Person Policies; anyone at the request of any member of the show committee not complying in
respect of these policies will be removed from the show ground.
3.
In order to comply with the Baston South Lincolnshire Show Health & Safety Policy, dogs should be kept on a lead at all
times and are the responsibility of their owner.
4.
All horses and ponies must be attended to at all times whilst outside of the lorry or trailer; this is a requirement of the
show Health & Safety policy.
5.
You are strongly advised that any pony/horse attending this show should be insured at least third party; failure to
comply cannot become the liability of the show organisers and committee.
6.
P (UK) - 1st, 2nd & 3rd placed horses/ponies in classes 2, 13, 14, 15, 20, 21, 22, 23, 36, 37 & 38 will qualify for the Winter
Classic 2015 and Supreme Championship 2015. Competitors in qualifying positions, who are not current members of
Ponies (UK), must become an Annual Adult member before the time of entry. Qualification tickets will be awarded in the
ring and Gold Tickets will be awarded to the Champion of each affiliated section.
7.
EQUIFEST - This Show is affiliated to Equifest, taking place at the East of England Showground on the 12th – 16th August
2015. The two highest exhibits not already qualified in classes 2, 13, 14, 15, 22, 23, 36, 37, 38 & 39 affiliated classes will
qualify.
8.
ROYAL INTERNATIONAL HORSE SHOW - At BSPS Affiliated Shows that are qualifiers for the RIHS the highest
placed pony, not already qualified, from the first three ponies will qualify. Owners and riders must be B.S.P.S. Members
before the date of the show to qualify in classes with qualification for R.I.H.S., (including Pretty Polly and Heritage
qualifying classes), and animals must be registered with the BSPS except for the Anglo and Part Bred Arabs who must be
registered with the AHS. Membership forms and payment must be received in the office no later than the last working
day (Monday to Friday) prior to the date of the qualifying show. (see Rule 22).

This show is a qualifier for THE “JUNE HORSFALL” SUPREME RIDDEN PART BRED & ANGLO ARAB
CHAMPIONSHIP, the final to be held at The North of England Summer Pony Show on 11th July 2015 kindly sponsored

Ponies, Open Nursery Stakes, Open 133cms 143cms and 153cms Working Hunter Ponies, Open Intermediate SRT., SH.,
and WH classes. Open Heritage Lead Rein and First Ridden classes. Open Heritage Ridden and WHP classes also to
riders who have not attained their 25th birthday before 1st. January in the current year in the Heritage Ridden and WHP.
17. THE BSPS “CLASSIC SECUTITY UK LTD” CHALLENGE - All summer qualifying shows that are affiliated to the BSPS
are qualifiers for the “The BSPS Challenge” ponies qualify as follows: Leading Rein and First Ridden, Open Show Ponies,
Nursery Stakes, Open Working Hunter Ponies, Open Lead Rein of Hunter Type, Open Show Hunter Ponies, Open
Intermediate SH. SRT and WH and Open Heritage Lead Rein, First Ridden, Ridden and WHP classes. The highest placed
pony that has not qualified for the 2015 Horse of the Year Show in the appropriate class, will qualify. If the highest placed
pony has already qualified for the “BSPS CHALLENGE”, the qualification will be awarded to the next eligible pony. If
after qualifying for the BSPS Challenge a pony qualifies for the Horse of the Year Show it will forfeit it’s qualification for
THE BSPS CHALLENGE”. Animals may qualify for both the BSPS Blue Riband of the Year and the BSPS Challenge, but
must select which competition they compete in at the BSPS Championships Show. They may NOT compete in the same
class in the BSPS Challenge and the Blue Riband of the Year.
18. CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS - The Champion in each of the following sections will qualify for the final of
the Champion of Champions at the Summer Championships Show: - The Mini Show Pony Champion, the
Mixed Height Open Show Pony Class Winner, the Open SHP Champion, the Open WHP/WH Champion, the
Open Intermediate Champion. In Mixed Height Open Classes the first prize winner will qualify.
19. THE HERITAGE WOW FACTOR - Ponies that have been placed First in Open Heritage affiliated classes
during the summer season will qualify for the “Winner of Winners” at the BSPS Summer Championship Show.
In Mixed height Open classes the first prize winner will qualify.
