Physics Course, Natural Science Faculty, Science University of
Tokyo, Shinjyuku-ku, Tokyo, through examination. Graduated,
March, 1967. Major subjects studied include principles of
physics, dynamics, electromagnetics, quantum mechanics, theory
of relativity, solid state physics, and history of natural
science.
March, 1963 - April, 1961
Electronics Academy of Japan. Major subjects I studied include
electronics, including radio and television technologies,
radio- and tele-communications, and information technology.
Major qualification and license:
Television Service Engineer by MITI (Ministry of
International Trade & Industry), 1956; and, Radio
Communications Operator by Ministry of Postal Services, 1956.

Free-lance technical translator. Translated Japanese patent
specifications, product manuals and similar technical
documents into English and vice versa, mainly in fields of
electronics, communications and information technology.
Clients included translation companies and patent attorney
offices for Hitachi, Japan Radio Corporation, and similar
large electronic corporations.
June, 1987 - April, 1984
Employed by Ishido Patent Office for managing its Foreign
Department to correspond with overseas patent offices and
customers in Japan. Also, wrote and translated numbers of
patent specifications.
March, 1984 - September, 1977
Free-lance technical translator. Translated Japanese patent
specifications, product manuals and similar technical
documents into English and vice versa, mainly in fields of
electronics, communications and information technology.
Clients included translation companies for Hitachi, Toshiba,
and similar large electronic corporations.
August, 1977 - July, 1974
Started up Transworld Incorporation, president, for technical
translation services. Translated Japanese patent
specifications, product manuals and similar technical
documents into English and vice versa, mainly in fields of
electronics, communications and information technology.
Clients included translation companies for Hitachi, Toshiba,
and similar large electronic corporations. The company had
been closed down from September, 1977, to March, 1994 and was
transferred to Tsunehiko Araki for patent research in April,
1994.
