Gus Garcia Middle School Lesson Plan Volleyball Skills (passing) Today we will introduce 3 on 3 VB game Teamwork Today’s Big Idea(s): Objective: TSW demonstrate the proper technique for passing the VB in groups of 3. Only allowed 3 touches on your side of the court. Are they using 3 passes? Make sure arms are extended and hands are together the proper way Monitor groups checking if technique is correct Provide positive feedback to the students Are students moving around going after the VB helping their teammates Are students being successful showing teamwork B - Why is it important to keep your hands together and arms extended? M –Analyze what you are doing, are you being successful in keeping the ball up in the air? E – Why is it important to call for the ball/talk in the VB game?
