C4-450-15 Ticket Guidelines
1.
Read these guidelines completely before beginning your ticket.
2.
Each participant is to write one ticket consisting of five goals.
3.
Ticket goals are to be written using the enclosed worksheets.
4.
For each ticket goal, complete each section to the best of your ability. As you
write the goal, explain which of the Wood Badge tools or skills you intend to
use to complete that item (example: communication, project planning,
listening).
5.
One of your ticket goals must include an aspect of diversity.
6.
Review your planned goals with the troop guide assigned to your patrol.
Accept his or her feedback (it’s a gift!) and be open to modifying your ticket
goals.
7.
Once you and the troop guide agree each goal is finished, print two hard
copies for both signatures. The troop guide is the only person who must
approve your ticket. Keep one signed original set for yourself and give the
second signed original set to the guide.
8.
After the guide has signed your ticket, put the files onto the patrol flash
drive. Include your last name in the file names (example: “Jones
Goal_1.doc”).
9.
Tickets are to be submitted by the beginning of weekend 2 (Day 4).
10.
Following completion of the practical phase, a ticket counselor will be
assigned to work with you. You have 18 months from the last day of the
course to complete your ticket goals.
