2014-2015 Swim Season
The Geauga YMCA Otter Swim Team is in its ninth year . New this year, we are
joining forces with three other area YMCA’s in Eastern Cuyahoga and Geauga Counties.
Combined, we are one team with over 150 swimmers ages 4-18. Our mission is to
encourage a life-long interest in swimming and to develop exceptional athletes. We
participate in a 22 team Northeast Ohio YMCA league. The swim season begins in
September and extends through March.
We are asking you to be a corporate sponsor for the team. We can offer your
company extensive publicity and exposure in the greater Chardon area at a great price
as you will see in the attached Sponsor Levels. Your company’s logo can be on our
Team T-Shirt, worn by kids and parents – not just to swim meets but all over our
communities. Not only will our team families be aware of your generosity, but the
name of your company will be seen by many people on our shirts and our website.
You might consider the Sponsor-a-Swimmer program - helping one swimmer
cover expenses for his/her season, allowing a child who, without financial assistance,
would be unable to participate in the sport.
The Geauga YMCA Otters Swim Team is under the auspices of the Geauga
YMCA, a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. All contributions to the Geauga
YMCA Swim Team are tax-deductible for federal income tax purposes and will be
acknowledged appropriately.

*Sponsors are responsible for providing logo art and optional meet program ads. Artwork must be received at
least one week before it will appear in printed materials or on our website. For logos appearing on team T-shirts,
the sponsorship must be funded and the artwork received no later October 3, 2014.
Geauga Otters Sponsorships
Sponsor a Swimmer: Your organization can sponsor a swimmer for $200. This
donation will be used to reduce the cost of the season’s fees for a deserving swimmer.
Sponsor donors will be recognized on our web site sponsor page.
