To complete this activity you will need to study the following references in detail: LWD 0.0 Command, Leadership and Management Honner: Kokoda Hero (Peter Brune) Japanese Operations in SW Pacific (Bullard Translation) The Kokoda Campaign Using examples from the Kokoda Campaign describe or explain how each principle was applied or misapplied by the Allied or Japanese Commanders. While the actions of the Allies are more fully explained in the references you must also examine the leadership style of the Japanese commanders and if applicable include an example of how they applied or misapplied a certain principle of leadership during the campaign.
