sustainability policies and plans were adopted for the organization’s Headquarters 1and 2 buildings as of
May 29, 2009.

individual policy or plan. For most policies the choice needed to earn LEED-EB: O&M points or a
prerequisite is the whole building and the whole site.
Goals
For each policy the goal is to achieve as highly as is practical relative to the stated performance metrics
and to work on an ongoing basis to increase achievement levels for each policy over time.
Performance Metrics
The performance metrics for each policy are those included in each policy.
Procedures and Strategies
The procedures and strategies for achieving the goals of each policy are specified in each policy.
Responsible Party
The person and position that is responsible for the implementation of each policy in the building is listed
in the table in Attachment A.
Time Period
Each policy is to be implemented on an ongoing basis going forward.
Review and Updating of these Policies
All sustainability policies are reviewed and updated as necessary on an annual basis.
2
Quality Control for Policy Implementation
Reports on progress, problem identification and resolution, and achievements, are reported to the
responsible party at least quarterly. These reports are reviewed by the IMF FMD Health, Safety and
Environmental Officer for completeness and to make sure the implementation process and achievements
are on-track with the objectives. Any problems identified are discussed with the person responsible for
implementation of the affected policy or plan and a resolution is developed.
