Student Senate Resolution 2011-3: Illinois Wesleyan
NCAA Women’s Basketball Final Four Appearance
WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Wesleyan Student Senate are proud to
congratulate the members of the Titan Women’s Basketball team on the occasion of the
2010-2011 Final Four Appearance; and
WHEREAS, Titan Head Coach Mia Smith and assistant coaches Andrea Travelstead,
Melanie Ward, Chad Cusac, Tasha Gaston-Bell, and Manager Vinny Mangin led the
team to the Final Four Championship; and
WHEREAS, the Illinois Wesleyan Women’s Basketball Team had a terrific season
ending with a 27-6 record, therefore be it
RESOLVED, BY THE ILLINOIS WESLEYAN STUDENT SENATE, that we
congratulate the Titan Women’s Basketball Team on the occasion of the 2010-2011 Final
Four championship season and wish them continued success and achievement in the
future, and be it further
RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the Illinois
Wesleyan Women’s Basketball Team as a token of our admiration and respect.
