We are also making this our 'Toy' Service. This is where we ask you to
donate a Christmas gift (toy/book/game etc) for the children who are
at SARAS (Sheffield Area Refuge and Support), over Christmas.
SARAS provides support to women and children fleeing physical, emotional
or sexual abuse.
A gift for the women would also be gratefully received. Gifts should be
unwrapped so the staff at the Refuge can easily allocate them.
Photographs
There will be an opportunity during the service today to take photographs
of your children dressed in their Nativity costume. Our resident
photographer would also like to take one of the children in the Nativity
scene which we would like put the front of our Church Christmas Card which
we give to our church family. If you don't wish your child to be in the photo
they can wait with you while it is taken.

From Re:Acts2
Christmas is coming, the goose is getting fat....and you're probably about to
spend a small fortune on food.....which, if you end up throwing it away, is bad
for your finances and your carbon footprint. But help is at hand! Love Food
Hate Waste is a project set up to reduce the amount of food waste we
produce (which is estimated to be about 7 million tonnes a year), and reduce
your food bills. And we, at St Tim's, are going to have an evening full of
information, tips and discussion on how to do this. Come along and join in at
8:15pm in church on 8 December, whether to pass your knowledge on, or pick
up some new tricks.
