The Project: Migrant and Refugee women are invited to share their stories of contributions to life in Hume, of participation, inspiration, making a difference, and achievements. The stories will be documented in Albums and kept at the Hume Global Learning Centre. More migrant and refugee women will be encouraged to visit the centre and write their stories over the year. How can women share their stories? Migrant and refugee women are invited to write their stories of participation and contributions in the Australian society, how they made a difference and continue to make a difference for social justice, women’s rights and multicultural Australia; their achievements and how they inspired others and or were inspired by women. The women are invited to write their stories for the launch of “Her inspirational Story” on Monday 5th March 2012. The stories can be handwritten or typed; they can be written in English or in their native language. All stories will be displayed at the Hume Global Learning Centre, Broadmeadows in the designated Albums.
