www.utprincipalship.org by NOV 30, 2014 Sign up for an Application Information Session Thu DEC 4, 2014 -6-8 PM; or
Sat DEC 6, 2014 -9-11 AM.
□Sign up and take the Graduate Record Examinations® (GRE) NOW, www.ets.org/gre/ UT GRE Code: 6882
I. Graduate and International Admissions Center (GIAC) Requirements due by 01/21/2015:
All nominees are invited to apply officially via The University of Texas at Austin Graduate and International Admissions Center (GIAC)
website at http://www.utexas.edu/ogs/admissions/howtous.html
□Apply for UTA graduate admission per the UT Graduate School (GIAC) at www.ApplyTexas.org
□Remit $65.00 non-refundable application fee
□Provide the email addresses of three (3) professional references, via your GIAC application, of which one must be from your current
principal or supervisor.
□Request official transcripts from all colleges attended for submission by that institution directly to: Graduate and
International Admissions Center (GIAC) The University of Texas at Austin

□Submit official Graduate Record Examinations® scores, www.ets.org/gre/ UT GRE Code: 6882
II. Department of Educational Administration and UTAPP Program Requirements due by 01/21/2015:
□Complete the Application Information Sheet at http://edadmin.edb.utexas.edu/forms/student_app/
□Upload your Resume in UTAPP Format to your graduate school application via GIAC's Admissions "check the status". Include
descriptions of your leadership/work, relevant training, etc. This may be done 24-48 hours after submitting the official GIAC application.
□Remit a $30.00 non-refundable Program Application Fee*. Send a check or money order made payable to “The University of Texas at
Austin” to Dept. of Educational Administration, ATTN: Graduate Advisor, The University of Texas at Austin, SZB 374, 1 University
Station, D5400, Austin, TX, 78712-0374
*Proceeds may be used in general support of the College of Education
III. Assessment Center by Invitation on Saturday FEB 7, 2015: Selected candidates will be invited to an Assessment Center
in Austin, TX. At the end of January 2015, invited candidates will receive advance notification of their February assessment time,
location and activities, and must:
□Bring three (3) copies of current professional résumé in UTAPP format – as noted above.
□Bring one (1) artifact of leadership experience to support the résumé. Artifacts can include a product created by a team, department,
action team, or committee you have contributed to and/or led.
□Prepare a 10-minute Power Point presentation based on a data-base prompt. The data set will be provided in advance to all candidates
who are invited to participate in the assessment center.
The UTAPP Resume Format and Application Rubric is attached for your reference.
