Hospitality Supervision at Brockenhurst College in the New Forest. She was promoted in
May 2012 to weekend Commis Waitress in our main Vetiver restaurant and then appointed
as Head Waitress in December 2013.
She has continued to excel and received the
Chewton Glen Award of Excellence in 2014”.
Commenting on Lucy’s success Cathy MacArthur, Lecturer in Hospitality Studies at,
Brockenhurst College said: “After leaving school in 2010 Lucy spent 3 years studying within
the Department of Hospitality Studies at Brockenhurst College, and it was evident from an
early stage that she had a talent and passion for the Hospitality Industry and excelled in
Front of House Operations. Lucy is a delightful young lady and I am delighted to have been
able to work with Chewton Glen to support her in the training which has helped her secure a
place in the UK squad for WorldSkills, and I am thrilled that she will be competing at

continue to support her as she progresses through the next stages of the competition”.
