Stone Bank School MS ( 6th, 7th & 8th grade) Spanish Curriculum Framework Spanish 6 (One day a week/year long course) Students will participate in Spanish class one day a week. Student grades will be based on participation and effort during each class period. The course will consist of: Language immersion activities Basic grammar concepts Cultural studies Spanish 7 (M-F) Text: Realidades 1: Prentice Hall Course Purpose: Learning a foreign language (Spanish) allows individuals to communicate with the people who speak it and to understand and show respect toward different cultures. Goals: 1. Students engage in conversation, provide and obtain information, express feelings and emotions, and exchange opinions. 2.
