The Nun is praying at the moment.
Yesterday: The Nun was providing care for the community.
11/8: The Nun prayed all throughout the day.
11/7: The Nun was weaving and spinning, getting ready for
when the cold comes.

I’m a nun, a prioress, who is
devoted to God but also my,

Oh! Dear sister, business hasn’t been
good since a week ago, I don’t have
enough money to feed my wife and
children I need your help sister. I don’t
know what to do.

of my many charming hymns, what did
you think about it? He! Ain’t I a
charm…I bring the goods to the
Church. Well catch you later, I got to
go and win the silver from the people.

perhaps I can drop by the cook and

The Nun’s Notes
Note 1: I can’t believe what’s happening to the poor old Merchant. Always ready to work and trade, yet
he is in great debt. Don’t know why? He is always trading among the most rich yet I guess this year is
just one of those slow years. I will pray for his family’s souls and his as well. May God have mercy on
those poor old children, whose souls are true beauty.
Note 2: Today during dinner, one of the Nuns’s made a comment about my eating habits. I can’t believe
that even within the holy walls there is evil among us. This Nun is young and very vulnerable. I might be
a little bit tightly and squeaky clean but it’s never a bad idea to have good manners. For goodness sakes
we are human we can use utensils and napkins! It must be her youth, she has just entered a new world
were everything around her, the world, has been closed forever.
Note 3: Today we, the Nun’s, provided medical care for those who need it. It’s awful to look at children
who haven’t received help. So many people came it’s unavailable that all these people continue their
everyday activities in the conditions that they are in. Some look more dead than alive and yet they are
happy with what they have.
Note 4: Today me and the Friar along with the people from the community had a spiritual gathering. We
read from the Holy book and sang hymns full of life. It made the people forget about their woes and
troubles. Everywhere I turned there were smiles and laughter. Thank you Friar for coming together and
planning this wonderful day.
