Season ("Present Breeding Season"). This contract is subject to the following terms and conditions:

A copy of the mares registration papers is due with this contract. We would appreciate a picture of
the mare.
2. The Buyer will insure that the Mare is in sound breeding condition. Barren, non maiden mares
should have a culture and possibly a uterine biopsy to insure the Mare is in good condition for
breeding. Results of these tests will be submitted to Kellie Paige. The Mare will receive
Rhinopeumonitis (equine herpes type I) immunizations at 5, 7 & 9 months of pregnancy or the
live foal guarantee will not be honored. Mares should be dewormed regularly.

FEES:
3. (a) Frozen Semen: Frozen semen will be shipped 2 doses at a time through Select Breeders.
Fees for Select Breeders are paid directly to them. Kellie Paige will contact Select Breeders to
confirm your eligibility for a shipment once this contract is signed and fees are paid. Then you
may contact Select Breeders to arrange the shipment of your frozen semen. The first 2 doses
of frozen semen are included with the stud fee, but each additional dose after the initial 2
doses will be charged $150 payable to Kellie Paige.
(b) Fresh: Frozen semen is preferred, but fresh semen is available if necessary for your mare.
Fairplay will not be available for collection during competitions. Competition schedule will be
provided upon request. The semen will be shipped fresh chilled in a disposable shipping
container. Collections will by done by Kathy Hickerson at Majestic Gaits. Collection fees of
$200 per collection plus shipping are due prior to shipment of the semen. Majestic Gaits will
accept credit cards for collection fees. Once this contract is completed, Kellie Paige will
contact Kathy Hickerson and confirm your eligibility for fresh semen from Fairplay. The
breeder can then contact Majestic Gaits directly for arranging the collection. The mare owner
must keep Majestic Gaits notified of the status of the mare so that she can make sure a
collection can be possible then and ensure you get it when you need it. Collection must be
requested 24 hours in advance and an intent for a possible collection at least 1 week in
advance. The more information you provide on the status of your mare to Majestic Gaits the
better.
4. This contract is live foal guarantee (foal is standing and nursing at 48 hours) with a return for
the following breeding season 2005. A report is due at the end of the breeding season. Prior
permission from Kellie Paige must be given in writing before substitution of another Mare. A
report is due no later than August 31, 2001 on whether the mare is in foal or not. This report
must be sent to Kellie Paige so the Live Foal Guarantee and return breeding can be honored.
5. If Fairplay becomes unavailable for breeding within the 2 breeding years of this contract, the
stud fee, less the booking fee will be refunded to the Buyer. Booking fee, collection fees, mare
surcharge fees are not refundable.
6. The $75 NAWPN mare surcharge is included in the stud fee. The foal can only be registered
with only one registry.
7. A nonrefundable booking fee of $500 is due with the signing of this contract. This fee is
included in the stallion stud fee.
8. The full stallion stud fee of $1800 must be received before any semen will be sent. Star, Keur
or other predicated mares discounted to $1500.

9. This Contract may not be transferred to another Buyer unless the original Mare is sold.

Law
The terms of this Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Massachusetts.
Breach
Either party may nullify this Agreement if the other party breaches a material term of this Agreement.
