We offer a wide range of classes for both veteran and novice jewelry artists. Learn the latest techniques with hands on
instructions and inspiration. Call (210) 490-7625 for questions. Classes are available for private sessions. Space is limited, so
register early! All classes must be paid in advance. Contact the store with your information to hold your space and to get pricing
for supplies. There is a $20.00 non-refundable deposit on all 3-4 hour classes and a $40.00 non-refundable deposit required on
all 5-8 hour classes. Classes must be paid in full 24 hours prior to class to continue to reserve your space.
Beading, Kuhmihimo & Pearl Knotting
Introduction To Beading:
$20 (Supply Estimate $20) * 3 Hour Class
This class is designed for the beginning jewelry artist. Make a single
strand necklace and a pair of earrings. Learn jewelry design and learn to
professionally finish a necklace. You will also make earrings. These
techniques will launch you confidently into the world of bead stringing
and design in just three hours. Instructor: Barbara Garrett or Carmen

Pearl Knotting:
$25 (Supply Estimate $16) All Levels * 3 Hour Class
Learn to hand knot pearls and beads for the heirloom style fluid necklace
or bracelet. The kit gives you tweezers, awl, silk and pearls to use and
take home. Instructor: Barbara Garrett
Bead Crochet:
$40 (Supply Estimate $20) All Levels * 3 Hour Class
Create stunning, eye-popping jewelry. The most interesting jewelry is not
unlike a fine art painting. Learn to use colors to create depth and
movement. Color is a tool that can be manipulated to do your bidding.

Learn the ancient Japanese braiding technique with many strands of
crystals, fibers and seed beads. Instructor: Sue Charette-Hood
Wire Sculpting or Wire Wrapping
Introduction to Wire:
$60 (Supply Estimate $25) All Levels * 6 Hour Class
The beauty of wire jewelry is not only in the type of metal used, but how the metal is shaped with a hammer and
tools. Learn wire properties, tools, and wire manipulation. Learn to create three different wire links that could be
incorporated into earrings, bracelets and necklaces. Learn how to make a toggle, coiled earrings and fabulous caged
bead earrings. Use your new skills to enhance your jewelry projects. All intermediate to advanced classes require

Wrap It Up:
$40 (Supply Estimate $20) Interm. To Advanced * 4 Hour Class
If you are ready for the next step, then this class is for you. Enhance your
beaded necklaces with wire wrapped pendants. Learn to build a frame to wrap
a cabochon and the basic steps required to make a removable wire wrapped
pendant. Use your creativity to put the finishing touches to your pendant with
Swarovski crystals and silver. Kit required plus you will need a stone cab to
wrap and Swarovski Crystals. Various supplies are available.

Mini Ring Session:
$25.00 (Kit Est. $14.50) Intermediate. * 2 Hour Class
If you like wire wrapping, take it to a new level and make your own rings. This beginner and intermediate class
introduces you to three different ring patterns. These fabulous rings are made with sterling silver, copper and

Beginning Silversmithing Class
All stones, silver, supplies and tools are furnished for the class. You will learn
how to solder sterling silver. You will design a pendant or a ring including a
three wire ring shank, make a bezel, solder it together, set the stone, and polish
your project. You will also make a simple wire pendant with a faceted stone.
Class fee $300.00 * Mar. 5 & 6 and 10 & 11 * Two Day Workshop
Intermediate Silversmithing Class
All stones, silver, supplies and tools are furnished for the class. You will learn how to
make solid band ring with cabbed stone and a hollow form pendant. Learn to solder
copper and silver and mix metals. Learn to use a jeweler’s saw and how to drill.
Class fee $300.00 * Mar. 3,4 & 12 & 13 * Two Day Workshop
Bead Stitching
Spiral Staircase Bracelet:
$35 (Supply Estimate $15) All Levels * 3 Hour Class
Bead a spiral staircase of pearls, crystals and seed beads for your wrist
using a modified spiral technique. This is an incredibly comfortable and stunning bracelet. Instructor: Sue
Charette-Hood
Netted Crystal Cuff:
$35 (Supply Estimate $25) All Levels * 3 Hour Class
Learn the netting stitch to create the bracelet base. Gorgeous 3mm
crystals are then stitched into the netting for an absolutely beautiful bracelet.

Crystal Wave:
$35 (Supply Estimate $20) All Levels * 3 Hour Class
Learn the even count flat peyote stitch with many different seed bead
sizes and crystals for a “wave” bracelet. Instructor: Sue Charette-Hood
Golden Moments:
$35 (Supply Estimate $30) All Levels * 3 Hour Class
Learn brick stitch technique to create this bracelet using a series of
links of oval crystals and seed beads. Learn to embellish edges for
a lacey look. Instructor: Sue Charette-Hood
Hermitage:
$35 (Supply Estimate $30) All Levels * 3 Hour Class
Learn the St. Petersburg stitch to create a very different looking
bracelet with seed beads and crystals. Instructor: Sue Charette-Hood
Squared Rivoli Crystal Necklace Workshop:
$60.00 (Supply Estimate $30) Intermediate/Adv. * 4 Hour Class
The Squared Crystals Necklace is made with herringbone, circle and picot
stitches. This design was taught at Beadfest and was created by Kelly Weise.
The kits are created by Kelly Weise and the class is taught by Sue Charette-Hood
and approved by Kelly Weise. This is an awesome opportunity to have a great
intermediate to advanced workshop. (Not an entry level class)
