CLINICAL HISTORY: Pre op.
COMPARISON: None.
TECHNIQUE: X ray of the chest, PA view.
FINDINGS:
Radiographic examination of the chest demonstrates clear costophrenic and cardiophrenic angles. The
mediastinal contour is within normal limits. There is mild vascular congestion in lower lobes. The lung
parenchyma is free of masses or consolidation. The hila are normal in size and position.
The cardiac size is normal.
The bony thorax is unremarkable. Arthritic changes are noted in shoulder joints.
Bone density is reduced.
IMPRESSION:
Mild vascular congestion in lower lobes.
No active lung infiltrates.
Osteopenia.
Arthritic changes in shoulder joints.
