Roy Moses, she is the writer of the referenced book The line is: Charley Rossen, Daniel Walter, Rossen Edward, Dwain ========================= Notes on Charley Rossen Pruett: He enlisted 17 Sept. 1864 in Cave Springs, GA Brice’s Co., 2nd GA Battery Sharpshooters; Age 16, grey eyes, dark hair, height 5’2”, from Calhoun Co. AL. He became a minister. Following is an excerpt from an obituary: . “REV. C. R. PRUETT: On Feb. 12, 1924 the life work of Rev. C. R. Pruett was ended. The Grim Reaper called him to come home with loved ones who had gone before. He was one of the oldest Missionary ministers of North Alabama, had served in the Civil War. His death had been expected since July, 1923. He was born in Floyd Co., Ga, Mar 2, 1847; married to Margaret Dudley of Jacksonville, Ala. Dec. 24, 1867. From this union was born twelve children. Seven years ago he moved from Marshall County to Blount County. The life he lived was that of above reproach. He was surrvied by 9 children……………”
