This indenture made this twenty fourth day of April in the year of our Lord One
thousand eight hundred and thirty four between Aaron Bridges and Nancy his wife of the
County of Spencer and State of Kentucky and Jeremiah Weaver of the County and State
aforesaid of the other part. Witnesseth that the said Aaron Bridges and Nancy his wife for
and in consideration of the sum of four hundred and fifty dollars current money of the
State Of Kentucky in hand paid the receipt whereof they do hereby acknowledge and
forever acquit and discharge the said Jeremiah Weaver and his heirs forever have granted,
bargained, sold, aliened, and confirmed by those presents do grant, sell, alien, and
confirm unto the said Jeremiah Weaver and his heirs forever that tract or parcel of land
situate lying and being in the County of Spencer on the waters of Simpson’s Creek
containing seventy three acres. (Included was a detailed description of the boundries.)
