Econ 402 Grade:
Your final grade will be based upon three exams
and two papers (air passenger and rail freight),
accounting for 80 and 20 percent of this grade,
respectively. Each paper will be typed, having a
minimum of two references and not exceeding five
(double-spaced) pages (not including the cover
sheet). Letter grades will be based upon a tenpoint grading scale.
Econ 502 Grade:
Higher quality work is expected of graduate
students in the course. Your final grade will be
based upon three exams and three papers (air
passenger, rail freight and ocean freight),
accounting for 70 and 30 percent of this grade,
respectively. Each paper will be typed, having a
minimum of four references and a minimum of seven
but not exceeding ten (double-spaced)
pages (not including the cover sheet). The
papers are expected to be of higher quality than
undergraduate papers. Letter grades will be
based upon a ten-point grading scale; no “D”
grades can be assigned to students enrolled in
500-level courses.
Exam Dates:
Exam #1 (Sept. 25), Exam #2 (Nov. 6), Exam
(Final) #3 (Dec. 9).
