What we are seeking is your solutions ability to work with Andover Continuum Building Management system. ANSWER #5: It’s a virtual server co-located at either the 610 Walnut Street (WARF Bldg) and 1210 W Dayton Street (DoIT/Comp Sci). QUESTION #6: Are there any lots that must have a cashier present. ANSWER #6: No. QUESTION #7: --Please clarify the style of fiber that will be provided. Single mode or multi-mode? --If fiber is utilized, what type of fiber will be used, single or multi strand? ANSWER #8: There is a campus network connection at each of the ramps in question that contractor’s data could flow over. Contractor would have to provide fiber from parking gate equipment to the network connection in the closet. ANSWER #12: The proposal specification for 4.3.2.1 states – “The entry lane components must include a Class 1 Generation 2 UHF Air Interface Protocol Standard reader capable of reading low cost generic RFID tags or a Gen 1 RFID reader. QUESTION #13 What types of antennas are used for this GEN 2 RFID readers? ANSWER #13: The proposer must specify the antenna to be used. QUESTION #14 At Lot 17 would you like the conduit to be flush mounted? ANSWER #14: The conduit should be concealed or surface mounted QUESTION #15 Who will be responsible for programming, commissioning and support of the GEN 2 RFID readers? ANSWER #15: The successful Contractor. QUESTION #16 4.2.9 Web validations. Could you elaborate on how you would like the web validations to work? ANSWER #16: We cannot elaborate. It is up to the proposers to describe how their proposed system would provide validations via the web. QUESTION #17 4.2.13. It states the device should be able to read receipts. What kind of data are you looking to read from a receipt? ANSWER #17: 4.2.13 already lists what the University considers as receipt types. QUESTION #18: Can you please clarify What the University’s ARC system is, described in 4.2.3. What Interfacing Options do we have with the ARC (4.2.9) Does the university currently own the T2 Systems Access and Revenue Control System software referred to as ARC? Does The ARC comply with PCI Security Standards? ANSWER #18: Transportation Services is using T2’s PowerPark module, we not using ARC. No requirements for PCI compliance were in place at the time PowerPark was installed. The PCI compliance requirement has recently been implemented at the request of our Vice Chancellor. (4.3.1) ANSWER #21: We typically purchase PELCO video cameras for the Andover system, however other components are purchased from a variety of manufacturers and their distributors.
