Classes 81 to 86 – OLYMPIA SEMI FINAL – NO ENTRY FEE
ALL OTHER CLASSES:- £28
24 HOUR EMERGENCY COVER FEE:- £6 per exhibitor- this charge is to help towards the
cost of First Aid, Security, Horse Ambulance etc.
STABLING
Loose Boxes are available and may be booked for the duration of the show at £65.00 per stable,
including VAT
SPONSORS WILL BE GIVEN PRIORITY WITH THE ALLOCATION OF STABLES.
FODDER – NO SHAVINGS WILL BE PROVIDED BUT WILL BE AVAILABLE TO
PURCHASE ON THE SHOWGROUND. ONLY SHAVINGS ARE PERMITTED in all
stables, NO OTHER BEDDING IS ALLOWED.
PONIES MUST NOT BE LEFT OVERNIGHT IN HORSEBOXES OR TRAILERS. CORRALS
ARE NOT PERMITTED ONLY HORSES & PONIES COMPETING AT THE SHOW ARE
ALLOWED ON THE SHOWGROUND.
EQUINE PASSPORTS/INFLUENZA VACCINATION CERTIFICATES
Exhibitors are required to have Passports for all horses/ponies when competing at the show and up to
date Equine Inoculations Certificates for each of their exhibits. Any exhibitors found without a
passport or valid certificate for all their animals will be asked to leave the showground.
NO ENTRY FEES WILL BE REFUNDED.
NO REFUNDS ON STABLES CANCELLED AFTER CLOSING DATE OF ENTRIES.

Ponies can be advertised for sale in the Catalogues with an asterisk (*) at £12 (see entry form)

ACCESS TO SHOWGROUND
EXHIBITORS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED ACCESS TO THE SHOWGROUND UNTIL
AFTER 12 noon on Friday October 17th 2014
NO ACCESS WILL BE PERMITTED between 10.00 p.m. and 6 a.m.

ROSETTES & SASHES
Finalist rosettes will be awarded to all competitors in Blue Riband Classes.
Specials will be awarded to all competitors in the Leading Rein, First Ridden
Tiny Tots and Cradle Classes.
Sashes will be awarded to the Champions and Reserve Champions and to winners of the
Tiny Tots, Cradle Stakes, Nursery Stakes, Lead Rein and First Ridden classes.
Qualifying Rosettes will be awarded in the Olympia Classes
All Competitors competing in Classes 1 to 12 will receive an item of BSPS Leisurewear.
JUDGING OF CLASSES
All classes will be judged in accordance with BSPS Rules.
ELGIBILITY
Animals must be owned, registered and ridden by BSPS members
Animals must be within the height limitations laid down by the Breed Societies.
BLUE RIBAND CLASSES
ANIMALS ENTERED IN CLASSES 1 to 12:- must have been placed
1st in BSPS Heritage Open Classes during 2013 or 2014 (Summer Seasons) or have qualified
for the RIHS, the HOYS or Olympia in the relevant section.
NOVICE CLASSES
Animals entered in classes 15, 16, 23-26, 43, 44, 51-56 must have been a Novice on 1st January
2014, except animals that have been placed 1st to 5th at RIHS, HOYS or OLYMPIA (including
the current year) are not eligible .
OLYMPIA SEMI FINAL
Animals must have qualified for the Olympia Semi Final – Classes 83 to 88
RESTRICTED CLASSES
Eligibility for Restricted classes in accordance with current BSPS Rules.
PRETTY POLLY CLASSES
Entries in classes 49-50 & 76-79 in accordance with BSPS Pretty Polly rules.
QUALIFIERS
BSPS 2015 SUMMER CHAMPIONSHIPS
The 1st, 2nd and 3rd placed ponies in the following classes will qualify for the Open and Classes
at the 2015 Summer Championships:- 31-34 47-48 and 63-67
1st to 4th placed ponies in Classes 31-34 qualify for the Premier League Classes
The highest placed not already qualified in classes 31-34, 47-48 and 63-67 qualify for the BSPS
“Classic Security UK Ltd” Challenge Classes.
BSPS CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS
The Champions in the following sections will qualify for the final of the Heritage Champion of
Champions at the 2015 BSPS Summer Championships:The Open Heritage Mini Champion, Open WHP Champion and the Open Ridden Champion.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY AND RULES
Classes will be Judged in accordance with BSPS Rules.
Only tack and spurs that are permissible in the ring in BSPS classes ARE allowed on the
showground while mounted.
Animals must be registered with the BSPS for 2014 to compete in all classes
Owners and riders must be BSPS members to compete in all classes
The Committee does not accept responsibility for any loss, damage or injury to any
person, animal or property at the Show. Exhibitors are warned that property has been lost
at Shows, and are therefore advised to take every precaution and not leave property
unattended
The Committee reserve the right to alter the times of the classes or the Judges if
necessary
Mounted exhibitors must adhere to horse walkways and riding areas.
OBJECTIONS must be made in writing with the objector's full name and address within
60 minutes of the completion of judging and must be lodged at the Secretary's Office
together with the sum of £50 deposit. This sum will be returned if the objection is
sustained, but if the objection is not sustained the deposit will be forfeited to the funds of
the Championships.
The Objection Committee will consist of Mr. P. Hilton, Mrs. P. Pattinson and
Mrs. S. Thomas.
Any objection against the judging of a class or championship must be referred to the
BSPS in accordance with the Rules in the 2014 BSPS Rule and Show Hand Book.
Any pony taking part will be liable to Dope Testing.
No marks will be displayed until after the presentation of awards.
It is strongly recommended that all exhibitors carry Public Liability Insurance for an
adequate indemnity to protect against their negligence.
WARNING!! Children, Motorcycles or Bicycles. Children MUST NOT be allowed to
play on the bales of straw. NO Motorcycles or bicycles will be allowed to be ridden
around the Showground or stabled area at any time. Bicycles or motorcycles may be
impounded for the duration of the Show.
STABLING Please fill in your stabling form correctly, this will assist the Office and
Stables Manager. Stabling will be available from 12 noon on Friday 17 th October 2014.
Boxes cannot be booked for exhibitors to sleep in. NO cooking or smoking permitted
in the stables areas. Stables in different names cannot be allocated next to each other
unless booked together at the same time.
Dress for Evening Performance. Riders blue or black coats with hunting ties, (stocks),
correct riding hats and leather or string gloves.
No buttonholes or earrings allowed.
All entries and stabling fees MUST be paid in full when entries are made. NO entries
will be accepted by telephone.
Incorrect entries will be refused. ANY CHEQUE that is not honoured by the Bank will
be returned to the exhibitor with their entries, and these WILL NOT be accepted.
A £10 surcharge will be charged for stables cancelled prior to the closing date of entries.

ANY VERBAL OR WRITTEN FROM SHOW OFFICIALS WHICH PERTAIN TO THESE
REGULATIONS IN THEIR OWN BEST INTERESTS. DETAILED GUIDE LINES CAN BE
SEEN AT THE SECRETARY'S OFFICE AND /OR ON NOTICES AROUND THE SHOW
GROUND. ANY ACCIDENT SHOULD BE REPORTED TO A SHOW OFFICIAL
IMMEDIATELY. REGULATIONS WITH REGARD TO THE RIDING OR DRIVING OF
HORSES AND PONIES, MOTORISED VEHICLES AND BICYCLES WILL BE STRICTLY
ENFORCED IN THE INTEREST OF ALL CONCERNED.
16.
CANCELLATION
The BSPS shall be entitled to cancel the Heritage Championships Show.
1)
upon the serving of notice to the entrant of such cancellation, not less than 48 hours prior to the Heritage
Championships Show: or
2)
an Event of Force Majeure occurs
For the purpose of this clause, “Event of Force Majeure” means an act of God including but not limited to fire,
flood, earthquake, windstorm or other natural disaster, act of any sovereign including but not limited to war,
invasion, act of foreign enemies, hostilities (whether war be declared or not) civil war, rebellion, revolution,
insurrection, military or usurped power or confiscation, nationalisation, requisition, destruction or damage to
property by or under the order of any government or public or local authority or imposition of government
sanction embargo or similar action; law, judgement, order, decree, embargo, blockade, labour dispute including
but not limited to strike, lockout or boycott; interruption or failure of utility service including but not limited to
electric power, gas, water or telephone service; failure of the transportation of any personnel equipment,
machinery supply or material required by BSPS for the provision of show services breach of contract by any
essential personnel; any other matter or cause beyond the control of BSPS.
Upon the cancellation of the Heritage Championships Show, BSPS shall return all Championship Show entry
fees to the entrants, however in certain circumstances the Society reserve the right to retain a fair percentage of
the fees when the Society has incurred expenses.
BSPS shall not be liable to the show entrants in contract, tort, negligence, breach of statutory duty or otherwise
for any loss, damage, costs or expenses of any nature whatsoever incurred or suffered by the show entrants of
an indirect or consequential nature including without limitation any economic loss or other loss of turnover,
profits, business or goodwill.
Any notice served in accordance with this clause shall be in writing and shall be deemed to have been duly
given if left at or sent by post or telex or facsimile to the entrant at the address or relevant telecommunications
number for such entrant or such other address as the entrant may from time to time designate.
