SYNOPSIS
Popolo, the world greatest ex-magician! You bet! He just lost the legs of Amabile, his beautiful assistant, during the
Halved Girl Show! He promised to offer her vacations at the sea to comfort her. It’s all well, but now that he’s jobless,
he’s gonna have to mug for the employment agency, like everybody!

Born: Anne-Laure Daffis in Montreuil (France) in 1974, Leo Marchand in St-Maur (94) in 1973
Biography: Anne-Laure Daffis and Leo Marchand studied Fine Arts at the Sorbonne University (Paris). Leo has then
worked as a sound assistant and production assistant on short films and published with Anne-Laure an art book entitled
"A good bit”. After 7 films directed together, in live-action and in animation, they spent two and a half years directing the
film "Life With No Tricks". During this period, they often presented their animation technique to festivals’ and cinemas’
audiences.
