Job purpose
To lead, deliver and manage all aspects of providing business solutions from key technology
platforms. To lead and manage on all aspects of information management and data architecture.
To lead the delivery of provision of high quality application solutions from multiple technology
platforms. Responsible for all aspects of IT change from programme management to project
delivery for business applications.
Key tasks

Lead and manage all aspects of IT solutions, from functional resources to technical
analysts, ensuring solutions deliver first class business systemsuseability, a robust
information architecture and consistent management information systems

Establish and maintain relationships with business stakeholders, understand business and
commercial issues, prioritises corporate projects and deliver appropriate and robust
outcome based solutions.

Work directly with Business Leaders and Operations Leaders, as well as with senior officers
to deliver improved customer service, greater efficiency and improved business control
through the use of IT.
Take overall responsibility for the information management function, ensuring Notting
Hill Housing (NHH) gets best value from its data through process, people and
technology improvements.
Establish, maintain and communicate the NHH strategy for managing information, and
the policies, standards, procedures and methods necessary to implement the strategy.
Recruit and directly manage consultants on one-off pieces of work related to procurement
as required, ensuring briefs are properly defined with SMART outputs/outcomes and that
these are delivered.
Manage individual projects through a program of change that deliver improvements in
customer service, efficiency and management decision making through the
deployment of appropriate tools and information.
Ensure staff are familiar with the requirements of the NHH Safety Management System and
that required actions are implemented within your area of responsibility. Focuses on
employee development and enables professional growth.
Delegate tasks and work requirements to resources ensuring clear responsibilities,
deadlines and deliverables.

Responsible for performance management of resources focusing on outcomes,
delivery and customer service
Manage departmental human resources to ensure that staff are prope rly trained and
able to perform their duties in a safe manner whilst maintaining network security.
Engage, direct and manage suppliers and business partners to produce high quality
outcomes based on a shared vision.
Ensure suitable technologies, processes and procedures are in place to manage
business continuity risks.
Oversee a transformation programme that will fundamentally improve IT at NHHG by
simplifying the IT environment and providing robust systems that enable staff to
perform their jobs quickly and easily. This currently includes the retirement or
replacement of over half the systems currently in use as well as department and
corporate change management including processes, procedures and systems.
Manage and control multi-million pound budgets for IT resources and the
transformation programme. Ensure value for money, consistent reporting and an
adherence to budget and budget controls.
Work with the Operations Manager and external contractor (Advanced365) to
standardise technology solutions moving to best practice platforms and consistent
processes and documentation.
Manage and mitigate risk by implementing and enforcing security policies, auditing
business continuity plans and reviewing vendor contracts and commitments.
