I began to write this book in order to teach about the various symbols used in daily life. As I began to study signs and symbols, it turned into something else. I began to explore more arcane symbols and their associations to religion and holidays. This pursuit in turn led to a renewed interest in The Holy Grail and various conspiracy theories. The book itself is meant to be a history guide and reference, and is not meant to offend any ones religious or cultural beliefs. I will leave it up to the reader to decide whether or not there are any connections between the information presented.
Introduction- The study of religion and history has always created considerable debate. Most individuals take the mainstream information about either, to be the whole truth. Yet, when dissected they show another side that ends in many paths. The majority of those “paths” tend to be covered with a layer of smoke and mirrors, or even shields.
Everything has an origin and that is what I presented in this book. The majority of this book is dedicated to religion and the Bible. It is suggested that one use a Bible with an Apocrypha, and a very good dictionary or encyclopedia, just in case you need to locate unfamiliar places,

Chapter 1
GENESIS words, etc. The goal of this book is to present alternative views to Biblical interpretation, to delve deeper into religious history, and to explore extra biblical information and theories. One of the concepts that you may find prevalent in this text is that of the Mary Magdalene,
Knights Templar, and Jesus connection. These ideas, centered on “the Holy Grail” have gained more popularity over the years, and are an idea that I believe needs further exploration.
Furthermore, all of the chapters in the book are related to one another and should serve as a guide to a better understanding of religious origins in general.

Adam and Eve- According to the Judeo-Christian bible Adam and Eve are the first man and woman on earth. Adam and Eve represent two symbolic ideas. 1) The division of humanity into two distinct sexes. 2) The early animal like innocence of humanity. Adam(from adamu meaning “of mud”) was one being akin to a hermaphrodite. According to Gen.2:21, God caused Adam to fall asleep and took a “rib” from him and created a female. It sounds like god performed some type of a “procedure” upon Adam and he became two different beings.
Therefore, Adam was a neutral gendered human. It is obvious that males and females were possibly one and the same at one time. Take a look at the anatomy of males and females, both have a penis/clitoris, ovaries/testicles, and breasts. Adam and Eve(Yahvah or Ava meaning
“mother”) represent the splitting of the being into male and female. At this time man was in an early animal like state, like Enkidu in the Epic of Gilgamesh. This, did not last very long.
*Adam is a being made out of clay or mud, much like a Golem. The golem in Jewish folklore is a magical creature made out of clay. A golem is usually some type of a servant used for whatever purpose. Was the first man, Adam, a golem???
Adam and Eve were cast out of the Garden of Eden after being “tempted” by the serpent, and eating of the “Tree of knowledge”. According to Gen:3:5 when you eat from the tree “ you shall be as gods”. After God says “Behold the man is become one of us, to know good and evil”. Notice that the plural gods and us are used by a so called single omnipotent god.
These gods are sometime referred to as the Annunaki. They may be our earliest non-ape progenitors. They bare the “missing link’ to our heritage. They are not God. They are a higher, more enlightened advanced race that would be considered gods to primitive ape men or man-apes.
The serpent is usually associated with the devil or Lucifer. The serpent may have been a renegade angel (Greek-angelos= messenger). In some way this story is similar to the Greek titan, Prometheus. Prometheus is responsible for bringing fire (knowledge) to humanity and was punished for it. He was chained to a rock and his immortal liver was devoured by a vulture on a daily basis.
The serpent in many societies is associated with knowledge, medicine, healing, and/or power.
The serpent is shown on the caduceus of Mercury/Hermes, the Greek god of quick thinking and knowledge. Various cultures such as the Egyptian, Chinese, and Mesoamerican used the serpent as a symbol of knowledge, and of power. If the gods were higher beings or even ancient astronauts, the serpent may have been a symbol or totem of an unnamed being. The serpent is supposed to be Lucifer. The name Lucifer (Latin-lux/lucis) means light bearer.
Light, like fire, is associated with some type of a new knowledge. Like coming out of the darkness (ignorance).
Note- Lucifer, Satan, and the devil are different beings. For more see entry on Satan and the

Two Versions of Creation- In Genesis there are two versions of the creation story. In Gen.
1:26-28 God creates Adam and Eve at the same time (male and female created he them). In
Gen. 2:20-22, God creates Adam, and then Eve. The first version may refer to Adams first wife Lilith.
Lilith- Lilith was supposed to be the first wife of Adam. She refused to bow down or be subordinate to him and was cast out or left him. She is supposed to be the mother of vampires, demons, etc .
Adam’s Rib- According to the Bible (Gen.2:21-22), God caused Adam to fall asleep and from his rib, he made a woman. Why couldn’t God create Eve, just like he did with Adam ? Adam was supposed to have been created from the dust or mud. The creation of Eve from Adam, seems as if God needed to separate Adams genetic material to create another one like him.
According to science men are created by way of X and Y chromosomes. Females are created from XX chromosomes. Why is it that the Y chromosome appears to be an X with one of its
“legs” or appendages missing? Furthermore, why does a male need an X, in order to be male, and why doesn’t a female need a Y? One male that I proposed this to said that the missing
“leg” on the “Y” chromosome is the missing “rib” from Adam. Yes, this is possible, but when you add that missing “something” you get an “X” which equals female. Also according to science, every single human being can be traced back to one woman in Africa. Therefore
Adam was either not a “man”, or Eve was created first. (See above entry)
Garden of Eden- According to the Bible the garden was located between the Tigris and
Euphrates Rivers(Iraq) on one side and the Land of Ethiopia ( an ancient name for Africa in general), and also near the land of Havilah who was also a descendent of
Ham(Cham/Kam=heat/black/sun). See Genesis 2:10-14 and Gen. 10:6-7. This would make the Eden somewhere between East Africa and Iraq. How ironic that Eden (paradise) should suffer so much due to modern day famine and wars.

Havilah- a descendant of Cush. Cush was also an ancient African kingdom.
Ham/Cham -Kemet/Kamet/KMT=black land or land of Blacks. Kemet is the ancient name of
Egypt.
Mark of Cain- In Genesis, both Cain and Abel made an offering of their firstlings to God.
Cain offered cereals and fruits and Abel offered meat. For some reason God did not accept the agricultural products. Since they were just offerings, why was Cain’s not accepted? Why did
God choose meat over fruits and vegetable, and what did God need with meat in the first place ? This rejection caused Cain to become jealous and murder his brother. After, he was banished to the land of Nod. God supposedly made him into a vagabond and placed a mark upon him, so that no one would harm him. If anyone were to harm him, they would come to harm, and Cain would be avenged seven fold.
The people known as the Gypsies, are known for being “vagabonds” and are also famous for their curse. Could the mark of Cain be the famous Gypsy curse? The Roma people (Gypsies), have very obscure origins. They claim that they come from Egypt, hence the name Gypsy.
Anthropologist and linguist believe that their origins are in India. They are going by some evidence that links Romany (the Gypsy language) to Sanskrit (an ancient Indo-Aryan language). Also there are some legends of Rajput entertainers coming into Persia in ancient times. Really, this only means that the Gypsies may have spent time in India, as well as
Armenia and Persia, and that is where they picked Indo-Aryan words that became part of their language.
There is one word that I found that links the Gypsies to Egypt, the word gham/kam, meaning sun. In the Egyptian language, KMT (Kemet/Kamit) meaning black land or land of blacks, was the original name of Egypt. In the bible Ham or Cham (the ch is pronounced like a k or an h, as in Channukah/Hannukah), is the black son of Noah. Cham/Ham also means heat and is associated with the sun. The descendants of Cain are also called Kenites. Kenite may be a corruption of
Kemite, and may refer to a person from Kemet(Egypt). Cain was supposed to have dwelled in
Nod (Nod=wandering or land of wanderers) after he left the area of Eden. This may refer to the Gypsies sojourn in India. According to the Bible, part of Eden was in the Land of
“Ethiopia” (parts of east Africa, including Egypt). Thus, Cain may have started out in that area and roamed into India. Furthermore, Cain does not refer to one person but the name of a progenitor (Cain) and his clan or tribe of people that were with him. Another clue is the fact that some of Cain’s descendants are referred to as smiths and musicians (Gen.4). Gypsies are known to be tinkers and also sometimes musicians.

The Land of Nod- ??? A place east of Eden. In Afro-Asiatic alphabets (Hebrew, Arabic,
Aramaic, Egyptian) there are no vowels. Therefore Nod would be Nd, without the vowels, just like Eden would be Dn. Nod could easily be India. Take away the vowels from India and you get, Nd. Technically, India is east of Eden (Ethiopia and Mesopotamia/Iraq). .....Maybe
Enoch- Also spelled as Chanok/Hanok. Enoch is a prophet who is credited with writing an apocryphal book. He is a descendent of Adam through his third son Seth. In Gen.5:6, he is said to have walked with God, live 365 years, and then was taken away by God. Notice the number 365. Legend also says that Enoch became an angel, by the name of Metatron. There is also another Enoch mentioned in Genesis. The other Enoch (Gen.4:17-22) is the son of Cain.
There is more than just a similarity in names. In Genesis 4, Cain begat Enoch, and built a city named after him. Enoch begat Irad--- Mahujael--- Methusael--- Lamech--- Jabal, Jubal,
Tubalcain, and Namah. These descendants of Cain were supposed to have been the ancestors of tent dwellers, herders, musicians, and smiths. In Genesis 5, Seth begat Enos--- Cainan---
Mahalaleel--- Jared--- Enoch--- Methuselah--- Lamech, who lived 777 years. Methuselah lived to be 969 years old. Notice the similarities in the names Mahujael and Mahalaleel, and between Methusael and Methuselah and also both Lamech’s. It makes me wonder if these are the same people. Whoever wrote this part of Genesis may have created the character of Seth as a way to clean up someone’s ancestry, namely Noah. Noah and his family repopulated the earth after the flood, and a “cleansing” of his ancestry may have been needed to show that all of the previous corruption of Cain, had been wiped out with the flood.
Book of Enoch- An apocryphal book attributed to Enoch, the descendent of Adam through
Seth. Enoch is also the ancestor of Noah. The book was written in the Ethiopian Orthodox
Bible and also the Old Slavonic Bible. It speaks of Enoch’s time with God, the fallen angels, astrology/astronomy and also makes reference to the coming of a messiah.
The Tower of Babel-Known in the Bible as the place where man’s language was confused. The tower in its simpler form is a ziggurat. Ruins of ziggurats are commonly found in Iraq(ancient
Babylon). The area of the Tigris and Euphrates rivers(Iraq) was part of the original Garden of
Eden.

* bab = gate in Persian
The word babel(bab-el) means god(el) gate(bab). Nimrod found a way to get closer to or communicate with God (or the gods) by creating a “tower” called the “godsgate”, whose top supposedly reached to heaven. Satellites and t.v. antennae usually point upward and/or are at the top of buildings. According to Gen.11:6, God said “ Behold the people is one, and they have all one language, and this they begin to do; and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do”. In Gen. 11:7 says ”Go and let us go down and confound their language” God came down and confused their tongues so that they could not communicate.
The tower represents a period of high advancement for early humanity. It sounds like at this time man had some sort of a communication network going on. Is it possible??? They may have used this “technology” to communicate with each other (the one language) and with the gods. Man obviously sought to learn from the gods, but were dispersed like Adam and Eve who were cast out of the Garden of Eden. The gods feared that they would become like the gods themselves, and learn their secrets.
Nimrod- The great hunter. Hercules. A rebel against the Gods. Builder of the tower of Babel.
Descendent of Ham
Noah- The descendent of Adam. Biblical prophet that survives the Great Flood. Noah and his family were spared by God from the flood, in order to recreate mankind. The story obviously comes from other pre-Judeo-Christian sources. The Epic of Gilgamesh is a story with very close similarities to the Noah story. The character Noah is based upon the tale of Utnapishtim, who is also known as Atrahasis and Siusdra. These myths come from the area of Mesopotamia.
In many cultures there is always a story of mankind’s wickedness and the gods or God always punishes them with some sort of a catastrophe, usually a flood. There is always one character who survives the flood and is responsible for the regenesis of humanity. You can also find it in
Greek mythology in the tale of Deucalion, and many others.
Noah’s sons are said to be the progenitors of the 3 races of mankind. According to anthropology, there are 3 main races of humanity. The 3 races according to anthropologist are
Caucasoid (white/European), Mongoloid (yellow/Asiatic), and Negroid (black/African) They sometimes acknowledge a 4 th
one, which they call Austroloid (as in the black skinned

aborigines of Australia). If Noah’s 3 sons represent the 3 main races, then what race or color was Noah?
Shem- The Asiatic son of Noah. He is the ancestor of some of the Arabs, the Hebrews, and other Asiatic peoples. If Shem is the father of both Hebrews and some of the Arab peoples, then how can Arabs (or Muslims) be anti-Semitic? The word Semitic, has its origins in the name Shem, and therefore applies to both Jews and Arabs.
Ham- Black son of Noah. Also spelled Cham or Kam. The father of the black peoples. This includes Egypt, the rest of Africa, Southern India and other Africoid peoples.
Hamyarites- The pre-Islamic people of Arabia. The prefix Ham comes from the name
Cham/Ham, the name of Noah’s son who became the father of African and Afro-Asiatic people. The Hamyarite language was spoken in Egypt and also the area now known as Yemen in southern Arabia. Yemen was part of the old Kingdom of Sheba (Saba) right across the Horn of East Africa (Ethiopia).
Japheth- Also spelled Iapetos. The white son of Noah. The father of the Caucasian people, such as Armenians, Iranians, and Indo-Europeans/ Indo-Aryans.
The 4 th
Son of Noah- According to the Koran, Noah had a 4 th
son that did not make it into the ark, due to his sinfulness (The Koran, Surah 11:42-43). Some legends say his name was Raya.
If Noah’s 3 sons represent the 3 main racial divisions of mankind, then what race or color was his 4 th
son ? Noah’s son said that he would find a mountain to protect himself from the waters.
If he survived, could he have been the father of another branch of the human race? If so, which one ??
* According to Anthropologist, there are 3 main races of humanity. Yet, they also admit to a
4 th
possible race called Australoid (austro= south).
Lucifer- meaning light bearer (Latin-lux/lucis=light). He is also known as the morning star
,which can also be interpreted as “falling star”. This coincides with the myth of Lucifer as the fallen angel. When Lucifer “fell”, he and his band of rebellious angels were banished from the presence of God. This disconnection from God became a punishment (hell). Being away from
God made them unlike God, and therefore evil. These fallen angels are also referred to as the
Sons of God in Gen.6:4 and Job 1:6.

These Sons of God are said to have procreated with the daughters of men and created a race of heroes and men of renown. This is similar to the Greek myths about Zeus, and other gods having relations with mortals and creating super humans, such as Heracles(Latin-Hercules).
Therefore Satan was a son of God who was used to test mankind. Lucifer is the “serpent/fallen angel” from the Bible, that tempted, but also, opened the eyes of humanity. He was made to crawl on his belly, which meant his status was lowered. He fell from grace, and was grounded upon the earth.
Lucifer’s Punishment- The serpent (allegedly Lucifer) was punished and cursed to eat dust and crawl on his belly. Snakes already crawl on their bellies. Why would god have to make the snake crawl ? It sounds as if snakes use to do something else besides crawling, like flying
(dragons). However, metaphorically it means that the Angel Lucifer was punished by being earthbound, instead of returning to Heaven and the grace of God.
Lord of Light- Lucifer.
Prince of Darkness- Not Lucifer (the light bearer), but the Devil or Satan the adversary of humanity.
Satan-Satan is also known as the devil. The word Shaytan can be found in Arabic and similarly in Hebrew, and means adversary/the one who accuses. In the Book of Job, Satan seems to be a servant or even son of God. Job 1:6 “ Now there came a day when the Sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan was also among them”. In Job1:6-8 God sends
Satan to test Job’s faith. He is told to take away everything that Job has, but do not harm him,
Job 1:11-22.
So how is it that we believe that has any power unless God deems it to be so??
The Devil- Also known to be confused with Lucifer and Satan. Take away the D and you have the word evil. The Devil is the epitome of evil vibrations, bad karma, negativity, and all human vices. The devil is the evil that humanity has created. It is the knowledge that mankind was given to enlighten him for good, turned into evil. Therefore, the devil is the opposite of good.
The word good has its roots in the word god. Thus, the anti-God would be the (d)evil. This evil is the sum total of mans wickedness, combined with the Biblical ideas about Lucifer, Satan
(adversary), and fallen angels. This evil has manifest into the entity known as the devil. This is a dangerous being, because it has been used by various leaders, and powerful people throughout history to prevent the true progress and tranquility of the human family.

Aldebaran “The Bull’s Eye”- Part of the constellation of Taurus. Aldebaran is known as the
Eye of God , the Bulls eye, The Follower, and the Fallen Star (Lucifer ?). The bull is also known as “aleph” (Hebrew) or “alpha” (Greek), which is the first letter of the alphabet. The horns of the bull eventually became the letter “A”. The bull is also associated with the sun god.
Il, El, Allah, Al-Ilah- The word El is an affix that means god in Hebrew. El appears in names like Gabriel (man of God). It also appears in the word Elohim, meaning god in the plural
(gods).
Il which is similar to El is from other languages of the Middle East, North Africa, and East
Africa.
The word Allah(god) from Arabic is similar to both El and Il.
Allah was also the name of a pre-Islamic lunar deity in Arabia. Before the worship of Allah became prominent, the worship of his 3 daughters was more important.
All three words appear in one form or another in Spanish and Italian as el(the) El(he), il(the), al(to the). For example Alhambra, Alcatraz, ojala, El Senor.
These words show the obvious influence of Moorish and Jewish culture upon the
Mediterranean area, namely Spain and Italy.
Also notice that Ojala (Spanish) and Enshala (Arabic) have similar meanings.
Yahweh/Jehovah- The accepted name for God. Yahweh is not actually a name, but are the letters YHWH. Jehovah is the Anglicized version of YHWH. Also notice that Jehovah is similar to the Latin Jove , which is another name for Zeus (dues =god), and Jupiter (dyaus =god pitar
=father). Yahweh (or Jahve ) was at one time a type of a weather god. The Greek Zeus and
Roman Jove were both gods of thunder, as well as Poseidon/Neptune the god of earthquakes and the ocean.
Jah- Jah is usually used by members of the Rastafarian religion. It means God. Jah is found in
Biblical names such as Elijah and words such as hallelujah.
Tetragramaton- The name for the letters YHWH. Tetra=4 gram/grama=letter(s) aton=god.
The actual name of god is unknown. It supposedly means “I am”. Yet, if you look in the Bible in Exodus 34:14, God says to Moses “ My name is jealous, for I am a jealous god”. Who or what does God have to be jealous about ? Also notice the word/name Aton(aten) at the end of

the word. Aton was the sun disk worshipped by the heretical pharaoh Akhenaton, whose life parallels that of Moses.
Gods name- According to Ex.34:14, God’s name is Jealous.
Tree of Life- The tree that was taken out of Eden, so that humanity would not live forever like the gods.
Tree of Knowledge- The tree forbidden by god to Adam and Eve. The fruit gave them the knowledge to be as gods, knowing both good and evil.
Chapter 2
Visitors
Annunaki, Elohim, Nephilim- The Annunaki are a race of beings that are said to have come from Planet X(Nibiru), also known as the 12 th
planet. They came to earth as explorers in prehistoric times. The word comes from Sumerian and means something like “those who came from heaven”.
The Annunaki supposedly arrived to collect minerals and other specimens. Eventually, they

created a being that would work for them. This being may have been created by some type of genetic manipulation. The Annunaki may have used a certain type of a ground ape as opposed to a tree dwelling ape. This hominid may have already been going through stages of evolution or perhaps it was just an ape. The Annunaki used hominoid DNA along with their own and began to jumpstart a new evolution or created a new hybrid, known as homosapiens (homo = man sapien=wise/knowledge) or modern man. Science has yet to find the so called missing link between humans and our ape cousins. What is the link???
Elohim- The plural form of the word El(god) In Gen. 1:26 “Let us create man in our image, after our likeness” and Gen. 11:7 “Go let us go down and there confound their language”, referring to the Tower of Babel. In Gen. 3:22 “ And the lord God said, Behold the man is become one of us, to know good and evil”. Why does God use the plural form Elohim(gods) and not El (god) ?
Nephilim- The Watchers. The Nephilim are those fallen angels mentioned in the Bible. In Gen.
6:3-4 it says that “ The sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair: and they took them wives of all which they chose”. And in Gen. 6:4 “ There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that when the sons of God came into the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown (heroes
?)”.
In Greek mythology Zeus has relations with mortal women, producing heroes, such as Perseus.
These fallen angels were responsible for creating a hybrid semi-divine race of early humans.
You can say that today’s humans have descended or devolved down from them.
Faravahar- Depicted as a winged disk with a human body sticking out of it. In ancient Persian mythology, it represents mans desire to be closer to god. It actually looks like a primitive glider or other flying machine. The concept of “closer to god” is symbolized by the wings. The wings in turn represent flight. The faravahar is also a symbol of the benevolent god of light
Ahura Mazda.
Anak- The Anakites are possibly the giants that are mentioned in Genesis. They are tall of stature and are said to be the half human descendents of the gods called the Nephillim. They were supposed to have still been around during Moses’ time.

The Mothership- A mothership is a main ship that carries a fleet of smaller ones. A mothership is able to hover in one place for prolonged periods of time. The word was first introduced to me in 1975, when musician George Clinton came out with an album titled “The Mothership
Connection”. The album cover had a spaceship on it. It made me think of a UFO that was waiting to return one day. Many scholars and others believe that the human race began with extraterrestrials or even fallen angels. These ideas can be found in the works of Zeccaria
Sitchin and also Erich Von Daniken.
*In Maya artwork there is a depiction of Lord Pacal in something that looks like a cockpit of a rocket or spaceship. It may not mean that he was in a rocket, but it might have something to do with travel. It could represent the ritual of passing from one world into another. Yet, why would a “rocket” be depicted at all in ancient art ?
Akashik Records-The earliest records of human history. The records are said to contain all types of information on spiritual, scientific, medical, and esoteric knowledge. According to legend they are supposed to be buried beneath the Sphinx of Egypt.
Ezekiel- The Book of Ezekiel is prophetic. In Ezekiel Chapter 1, the prophet claims that in the

year, during the 4 th
month, and the 5 th
day, the heavens opened up and God appeared to him. God and some other companions appear in a whirlwind of clouds and fire. He said that he saw 4 creatures with 4 faces and each had 4 wheels and the 4 wheels had eyes all around it. He was given a message by God for the sinful children of Israel. He is to warn Israel of their own destruction. There is also the prevalence of the number 4. The name of God Yahweh (YHWH) is called tetragramaton (4 letters of god’s name). These 4 letters may refer to the 4, not 3, personalities of God. In Genesis, God always refers to itself as “us”. This may be why Ezekiel says that he saw 4 creatures, and that “they” were God.
DNA- It take 4 amino acids to form DNA. They are Adenine, Guanine, Cytosine, and
Thymine. Ezekiel said God had 4 faces. God’s “name” YHWH is spelled with 4 letters. The tetragrammaton, represents the 4 letters of God’s name.
* Ezekial saw 4 faces, 4 wheels, 4 creatures, in the 4 th month. 4+4+4 +4 = 16 or 4x4 =16, in numerology 1+6 =7. 7 is the number of God as opposed to 6 the number of man. (See numerology)

Wormwood- Wormwood is a plant that is used to make a drink called Absinthe. It is from the aster (aster =star) family of plants, and is also known as Artemesia and “old woman”. It is said to have a bitter taste and was sometimes used as a form of bug repellent. In the Book of
Revelations Ch.8:10-11, wormwood is some type of a star (or asteroid) that falls to the earth and poisons the waters during the end of days.
Orders of Angels- The hierarchy of angels. Angels are ranked by their duties and closeness to
God. They are the Seraphim, Cherubim, Thrones, Dominions, Principalities, Powers,
Archangels, and Angels. The Seraphim are the closest in order next to God. Lucifer was a member of the Seraphim. Some monitor the planets, others are there to help mankind develop, and others assist with the Book of Life.
Kaaba- The famous black “rock” of Islam. The stone is actually a meteorite that landed there thousands of years ago. It was supposed to be the “home” of the 360 deities that were worshiped there in pre-Islamic times.

Christianity
June 24 th
- The nativity of St. John the Baptist. The Summer solstice.
December 24 th - The nativity of Jesus. The Winter solstice.
The Messiah- The word messiah is usually associated with Jesus Christ. According to
Christian tradition, Jesus was supposed to be the messiah prophesied to come.

The word messiah comes from the Hebrew word mashiah which means anointed, but it also means messenger. This is similar to the word prophet. The word angel (Greek- angelos
Arabic-injil) also means messenger.
What Jesus man, angel, son of God, prophet, or king ?
Jesus (Yeshua bar Yusef) was of the lineage of King David through his father Joseph ( In the
Hebrew and Arabic-Yusef/Yosef), and the priestly Levites (the tribe of Moses and Aaron) through his mother Mary ( see Gospel of St. Luke 1:5 and 1:36 , St Matthew 1:6-16).
Therefore, he had royal and priestly blood in his favor. He was heir to both the throne of Israel and also could have been eligible to be a member of the priesthood. This would have given him the dual status of priest-king. Being the messenger of God does not necessarily mean son of God. If you consider a priest-king to be god on earth in the Egyptian tradition, then yes,
Jesus was the son of God, and god incarnate upon this earth. Or you could consider him an angel born into the flesh, since the words angel, anointed, Christ, and prophet all mean a type of a messenger.
Then there is John the Baptist. You can call him the pre-messiah or even the first messiah.
John the Baptist was the cousin of Jesus through his mother Elizabeth (cousin of Mary). His mother was also a descendent of the Levites (St. Luke 1:5). His father Zaccarias was a priest in his own right. John was also a miracle baby. His mother was supposed to be barren and passed childbearing years. Yet, she gave birth to John. His birth was also foretold by the angel
Gabriel. John lived the life of an aesthetic and baptized with water which is a common cleansing and purification ritual, not only in Middle Eastern, but many other cultures also. He preached of repentance, and wanted the Jews to go back to their traditions and prepare. He wanted them to get ready for the new Kingdom of Israel, to be led by his cousin Jesus. Jesus would lead the people and John would have been his high priest. They were to be the new leaders in a new Jewish society. At this time Judaea was part of the Roman Empire. Jewish culture, therefore come under the influence of Hellenism (Greco-Roman culture). Many took
Roman or Greek names. Rome even put a half Jewish dynasty on the throne-the Herods. The lineages of David and Aaron had been waiting for the right moment in time to begin their quest toward regaining the throne of Israel. Mary and Joseph just happened to be born in the right generation in order to make the prophecy come true. John was there to help the people to remember their “pious” heritage and their covenant with God. This was needed in order for the people to accept a new king after so many generations of foreign rule. In the Bible he seems extreme, but it usually takes a radical to get peoples attention. Unfortunately, both messiahs were assassinated before their missions were completed.

John the Messiah- There is also another view that John the Baptist was the first messiah. Note, that Jesus did not really begin his ministry until after the death of John the Baptist, as he were picking up where John left off. John’s method and message was stricter than that of his cousin.
Jesus’ message seemed to be more lenient and therefore attracted more followers. Many of
John’s followers joined Jesus after the death of John. The rest of John followers fled to places like Persia, where they founded the Mandean religion.
Chrestus- This word has the same root as the word Christ (Christos/Kristos). Chrestus was said to be a leader of a Jewish rebellion that occurred in 49 A.D. He lived during the reign of the
Emperor Claudius. This date is about 16 years after the crucifixion of Christ around 33 A.D.
Yet, somehow the two are associated. They may be one and the same, and if so, then Christ may not have lived during the time of Herod and Pontius Pilate. The names Herod and Pilate may have been added later by those individuals who did not live at that time and did not even know Christ personally. Or another view is that Christ returned from hiding and led another rebellion in Judea, and then fled to parts unknown.
Lost Years of Jesus- Most of what we know about Jesus is his birth and then adulthood. His adolescent years are missing. Some believe that he may have traveled to India and Tibet. It is much more likely that he spent those years in Egypt. As a child Jesus lived in Egypt, Moses lived in there and so did Abraham and Joseph (son of Jacob). Egypt was the source of all types of esoteric knowledge and mystery religions. The Greeks even acknowledged that they were educated by the Egyptians. Therefore, why would Jesus travel to India, when he had the source of Judaism and other knowledge right in his own backyard?
* There is some evidence of early “Christianity” in India. It probably arrived there by way of caravans and early missionaries. See St. Issa
Emmanuel- The other name of Jesus. He seemd to have had 3 different names or titles.
Emmanuel means “ god is with us” and Jesus(Yeshua) means “ he shall save the people from their sins”, Christ means “the anointed one”.

“My God why hast thou forsaken me?” - Why did Jesus think that God had abandoned him?
Did that mean his was not allowed to die just yet? If he was not allowed to leave this realm, then his work was not completed. The Church of Latter Day Saints believes that Jesus appeared in the Americas before he ascended to heaven. Was it Jesus the man or the Spirit?
Eloi, eloi lama Sabachtani- “My god, my god why have you forsaken me?”. From the Gospel of St. Mark (15:34). Also pronounced as Eli, eli, lama sabachtani (St. Matthew 28:46).
During the 9 th
hour on the cross Jesus uttered these words. These words are Hebrew. Yet, at the time the Jews did not speak Hebrew. In Jesus times, the common language amongst people of the Middle East was Aramaic. Aramaic is a close relative of Arabic. Thus, did Jesus call out for Eloi/Eli or Ilah/ Allah ?
Judas Iscariot- Did Judas actually exist ? If so, was he Yeshua’s (Jesus) brother ? In the Old
Testament, Jacob, had 12 sons. One of them Joseph was betrayed by his brothers at the instigation of his brother Judah. He was sold into slavery for 20 pieces of silver. Jesus was betrayed by Judas for 30 pieces of silver. In the Bible Judas is mentioned as one of Jesus’ brothers (Matthew 13:55).12 brothers, 12 disciples. It is well known that Jesus told Judas to do what he must do quickly. He knew that Judas, as well as Peter, was going to betray him. It appears as if they were all in on it together in order for the prophecy and sacrifice of the Lamb of God to come true. In order to make it real.
Barabbas- (Bar= son of, Abba= the father). Barabas or Barabbas was one of the men who were supposed to be crucified along with Jesus. He was considered a revolutionary and was imprisoned. Pontius Pilate released him supposedly at the request of the mob (the people). He is sometimes called Yeshua Bar Abbas (Jesus Barabas). If he is called son of the father and
Jesus Barabbas, then who was he ? His crime was very similar to that of Jesus, in that he started a revolt against the Roman Empire. All that we know is that he was released. It is possible that Barabas and Jesus were one and the same.
St. Issa- Issa is a saint revered in India. There are claims that Issa was Jesus Christ. Issa was

known to travel in the Benares area of India. Some even believed that Issa/Jesus is buried in
India.
St. Thomas in India- St. Thomas was said to have traveled into India and preached the gospel.
The story of Jesus obviously reached India, and this may be where the story of Issa originated.
St. Joseph- When did St. Joseph die? Why isn’t it talked about in the Bible? It is as if he became unimportant to the story and was fazed out of it. I think that the emphasis upon the divinity of Jesus was chosen over the royal lineage, by the “authors” of the Bible. Therefore his son of God status was more important than his son of Joseph, descendent of King David status.
Exodus- From the Greek word meaning to exit or to leave from somewhere. According to the
Bible the Israelites made an exodus from Egypt. Yet, in Jesus’ time there was a community of
Jews living in Egypt still. These Jews either never left Egypt with Moses or eventually returned there to form small communities. Today, there is still a Jewish quarter in Egypt.
Therefore, the Egyptians must not have been too oppressive toward the Jews or else, why would they continue to live there after Moses, during Jesus’ time, and today. During the time of Joseph and the Hyksos pharaohs, the Israelites possibly enjoyed a life of prosperity. After the defeat of the Hyksos by native Egyptian forces, the Israelites may have had their status reduced. Also there has never been any concrete proof that the Israelites were actual slaves in
Egypt. They may have been second class citizens, but not slaves.
The Virgin Mary- Mary (Hebrew-Maryam/Miriam) the mother of Jesus. She was said to have been a virgin when Christ was born. The word virgin (Gk. Virgo) has more than one meaning.
1) A young woman
2) A maiden/virgin
Mary was a very young woman, possibly in her early to mid teens when she married Joseph.
Joseph was an established carpenter when he married her. Arranged marriages between older men and younger women is still a common practice in many cultures. Their marriage brought

together the Davidic and Levite lineages to bring about the prophecy of the messiah.
Symbols of the Virgin Mary- Mary’s symbols are derived form the Egyptian and Middle
Eastern mother goddess Isis. Isis’ husband Osiris was murdered by his jealous brother Set.
After his death Isis was still able to produce a child Horus. She does this without really having sex.
Therefore, it was a “virgin birth”. Statues of the goddess with the baby Horus are constantly depicted in Egyptian art. These are the prototypes for the Madonna and Child (Mary and baby
Jesus) paintings, statues, etc.
In Christian art the virgin is shown wearing certain vestments (clothing). She is usually shown standing on a crescent moon, wearing a cape of stars or a blue cape (blue=heaven), surrounded by roses and held aloft by an angel or angels. Sometimes she has a halo or a halo of 12 stars.
The 12 could mean 12 apostles, 12 signs of the zodiac, 12 planets ( 9 plus the sun and moon , plus a legendary planet X=12), etc,,..
In “pagan” times the moon was a symbol for the goddess. In Greek mythology Selene and the later Artemis was the moon goddess. The moon is also a symbol for Kore, Hecate, and Ishtar.
The moon is a symbol of womanhood and the cycles of life- the maiden (youth), the mother
(fertility), and the crone (wisdom/maturity). The word month is derived from the word moon, because it takes the moon about 29 days to make one revolution. The moon also affects the tides of the ocean and a woman’s menstrual cycle.
The 5 pointed star or pentagram is also a symbol for the goddess. It a symbol for the morning star Venus.
The rose is also a goddess symbol. The rose represents the number 5 and is associated the pentagram.
In the Aztec/Mexica tradition there is also a goddess that is associated with stars. She wears a astral cloak or skirt. She is called Citlalicue, meaning her skirt is a star, in Nahuatl (Aztec).
The ancient goddesses Venus, Ishtar, Astarte, and Eostre (Easter) have stars as their symbolism.
The symbols of the Virgin Mary show the coming together of all of the goddess elements in
Mary as mother of the Catholic Church. Katholikos is Greek word meaning all one or universal, as in all goddesses made into one. The word universal means something common to all, something you can find everywhere, across cultures and religions.

The Virgin of Guadalupe (Tepeyac)- In 1531 an apparition appeared to a Mexican native
Indian named “Juan Diego”. She called herself “the Lady of Guadalupe” and mother of God and requested that a church be built upon the sight. She also caused her image to be imprinted on the cactus fiber cape of Juan Diego. When the Bishop and other Catholic officials saw the image they were convinced .Some believe that “Our Lady of Guadalupe” is Tonantzin a mother goddess from Mexico. While others feel that it was a ploy by the Catholic Church to convert the native population to Christianity, by using the Virgin Mary as a replacement for a familiar goddess.
Our Lady/Madonna- Throughout the world in various cultures there has been appearances of what some believe to be the Virgin Mary. These apparitions are always called “Our Lady”. For example there is Our Lady of Lourdes, Our Lady of Fatima, and Our Lady of Guadalupe, just to name a few. In some instances when she appears, she called herself “The Immaculate
Conception”, meaning born without sin. If a person is not born into original sin (the flesh, having a fleshly body), then they are just pure spirit or energy.
Fatima (Portugal) First an “angel” appeared to the 3 children on various occasions. Months later a young lady appeared to the 3 children over a period of time. She gave them warnings and predictions for the world to either prevent or prepare for. The two youngest of the children
Francisco and Jacinta died at an early age, but the oldest named Lucia lived out her life as a nun in the Vatican until she died. One of the requests of the apparition was that Pope John Paul
II, consecrate or bless Russia. The rumor was that he did not do it (obviously), and ended up being the target of an assassin’s bullet. Russia is one of the places that have a tradition of worshiping the “Black Madonna”. Pope John Paul II, also came from a area that worshiped the
Black Virgin- Poland. Also many of the churches around parts of Europe, especially France, are called “our lady”, as in Notre Dame d’ Paris, Chartres, Amiens, etc. Yet, if she is not the
Virgin Mary then who is she?
Lucia lived and died in the Vatican, as if she were some sort of a prisoner, hidden away under the watchful eye of the church.
Immaculate Heart- another name for the apparitions that appear to be the Virgin Mary. In cartomancy, the heart or cups represents the Goddess.
Assumption of Mary- It has been assumed that the Virgin Mary ascended to heaven in the flesh. This was not part of official Catholic Church belief until 1950.

Semiramis- Widow of Nimrod who gave birth to a son on December 25 th
. She claimed that her husbands spirit came to her in a beam of light and gave her his seed. She named her son
Tammuz. Nimrod was the sun-god and Tammuz was the son of the sun/god.
James the Brother of Christ- James Adelphatheos ( adelphatheos= brother of God). The name
James is derived from the Hebrew name Yaqub (Jacob). It was eventually Latinized into
Iacamo, Iacobo, and Iago (as in Santiago = St. James). Iacomo is where the Anglicized name
James comes from. In 2002 a bone box was found with the words (in Aramaic) Yaqub bar
Yusef, Akhwi Yeshua (James son of Joseph, brother of Jesus) upon it. It was said to be a fake, but that is still a matter of controversy. James was a Nazarite and the leader of the Christian-
Jewish community after the death of Jesus. Unlike Paul he believed that one had to be a Jew, before you could be a Christian, and also had to follow Jewish laws and traditions such and circumcision and food taboos. It was James, not the betrayer Peter that Jesus left in charge of his “church”.
The Cross-When one thinks of the Cross images of Jesus Christ come to mind. The images of his life, ministry, passion, and crucifixion are prevelant. The cross is not a uniquely Christian symbol.
The word cross comes from the Latin cruciare, meaning to torture. Therefore, the words crucify and cross actually means to torture. Crucifixion was a common Roman practice. Have you ever seen the movie Spartacus ? The main character, a Greek slave and rebel leader, was crucified at the end.
*Spartacus was an actual historic figure.
The cultures of Ancient North America and Mesoamerica also used the cross. It represented the four cardinal points and the four winds. Each of the points or winds represented a deity that ruled over them. In Aztec culture it represented the four Tezcatlipocas.
The cross also divides the zodiac into quadrants (4 parts).

The upside down cross is a symbol for Satanism. The Church of Satan and various so called satanic cults use this cross as their symbol. Yet, the inverted cross is also a symbol of St. Peter.
It is said that he was crucified upside down. St. Peters shield depicts the inverted cross with keys. Remember, that Peter denied Christ three times, according to the New Testament. In St.
Matthew 16:23 Jesus say to Peter “Get the behind me Satan: thou art an offense to me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men”. Right away Peter is associated with Satan. Yet, he is supposed to be the first “pope” of the Catholic Church. Popes trace their office back to St. Peter according to the Petrine Theory, since Jesus left the “keys” of his kingdom to Peter. Peter denied Christ thrice, and his symbol looks like the satanic cross, yet the church traces its origins and papal office back to him. There is obviously a connection between St. Peter and Satanism.
The Cross also represents the 4 (quadrants) parts of the Zodiac. There are 4 parts of 3 signs each.
Cross of St. Brigida- St. Brigid is actually an off-shoot of the ancient Celtic goddess Brigida.
The cross is equaled armed and has five jewels encrusted upon it. They are on either side and in the middle. The number 5 is the number of the goddess, but also represents the stigmata
(Christ’s wounds)
Christ/Karist/Krishna- The word Christ come form a Greek word meaning anointed. This is similar to the word messiah. It could also mean anointed, as in an anointed king. The Greek word Christos is said to have been derived from an Egyptian word karis/t. The karist is the form of the human body lying flat with the arms crossed/folded like an X. This position or symbol is also known as Chi-Rho. They form the first two letters of the word Christ and also the first consonants of the word karist. The letters are from the Greek alphabet and when combined look like an X(chi) and P(r/rho)*. The P is the head and body and the X is the crossed arms. It was a symbol of death and resurrection in ancient Egypt. Both the Egyptian
Osiris and Jesus are death and resurrection gods.
* almost like the Rx symbol used for pharmacies.
Long Haired Jesus- During Christ time, most men had short hair in the Roman fashion. The accepted view is that during the Italian Renaissance, Jesus was depicted in this manner, and the idea stuck. Yet, because Jesus and John the Baptist were Nazarites, they were required to wear their hair long. (see Nazarites)

The name of the Hindu god Krishna also has the kr/krs prefix. Krishna is an avatar of the god
Vishnu. He was born of a virgin named Maia, has a halo, and was sent to spread love and also to kill demons. As a child he was known to perform miracles. Krishna was killed by an arrow to the foot, his only mortal spot. When Krishna died the present Dark Age begun. Another avatar of Vishnu named Kalki is supposed to come on a white horse and save mankind.
Therefore, Krishna like Jesus died, and there is supposed to be some sort of a second coming of a savior after both of their deaths. Those who follow Krishna are called Hari Krishnas and the followers of Christ are called Christians both have large followings across the world.
St. Paul- Saul of Tarsus. A Hellenized (Greco-Roman influenced) Jew. He never even met
Jesus. He was also very anti-Christian. He claims that he had a vision of Christ on the way to
Damascus and was converted. He then began to preach Christianity to the Gentiles (non-Jews), and allowed them to become Christians without even adhering to Jewish laws. He is responsible for changing Christianity from a Jewish sect to the pagan influenced Catholicism
(and other forms of Christianity) that we have today.
St. Peter-( Simon bar Jonah). He was called Peter ( Petros), which means rock in Greek). In
Aramaic, he was known as Cephas (not pronounced see-phus, but Keh-phas), which also means rock. Peter is supposed to have inherited the keys to the kingdom from Jesus, and was supposed to be the foundation of his church. He is considered the first pope of the Catholic
Church. His remains are said to be buried in Rome underneath of St. Peters Basilica church.
Peter denied Christ 3 times. He was crucified upside down. His symbol is the upside down cross. The inverted cross is a Satanic symbol.
Simon Magus- A magician that lived during the time of Christ. He is supposed to be of
Samaritan heritage. He was said to also have the ability to heal the sick, levitate, etc. He was considered by some to be the son of God, or God himself. He is called the founder of a new religion, most likely Gnosticism. There are some parallels between Simon Magus and Simon
Peter (St. Peter). Both are named Simon, both help to found a new religion, and godlike powers, such as healing, are attributed to both, and both are associated with the devil or demons.

Churches over Temples- When you travel around former “pagan” cultures, you find many churches built over temples. This occurs a lot in Mexico and other parts of Latin America. This is a spiritual and psychological oppression of the people and their faith and culture. Building over a temple shows the people that their way is not the “true” way. It proclaims that the church’s authority and that it is more powerful than their religion. It is a tool used to cause
“amnesia” about ones own history. It is a symbol of outright oppression and repression.
St. Joan of Arc- b.1412 died 1431. The Maid of Orleans. Joan (Jeanne) was not from a town called Arc, she was from the village of Champagne. She lived during the era of the Hundred
Years War (between France and England). This part of the war was caused by a claim of the
English king to the French throne.
Joan claimed that she heard voices that told her about the fate of France, how she must lead an army against the English, and the crowning of the dauphin (heir to the throne of France). She eventually made her way to the court of the dauphin and presented herself there. She told her story and asked to speak with the heir to the French throne. The dauphin was in disguise and
Joan recognized him anyway. It is said that she whispered some secret into his ear, and he sent her to theologians who deemed her to be legitimate.
She was entrusted to lead 7,000 men. Joan was very successful at the Battle of Orleans where the English were defeated. After this she pushed for the crowning of the dauphin Charles VII.
Her mission was completed and by this time she had predicted her own defeat. She was captured by the English and burned as a heretic in 1431.
Joan was said to be a simple peasant girl. Yet, she was able to find a way to get to the dauphin, disclose a secret to him, win a battle against the English, and included Rene de Anjou as one of her entourage. Joan was born in Champagne, the territory of Hugh de Champagne, who was a
Knights Templar. Rene de Anjou is also associated with the Templars and also said to be a descendent of the Merovingians. Hugh de Payens the founder of the Knights Templar was also from Champagne as was Bernard of Clairvaux. Bernard of Clairvaux was responsible for making the Templars a legitimate order. The name Joan is the feminine of John (Jean in
French). There are some that believe that she was either illegitimate royalty, part of a secret society, or both and that the name Joan, like John, is some sort of a title. It may have something to do with the Johnite form of Christianity, where St. John the Baptist is the key figure. Joan wore white armor and carried a standard with the words Jesus-Mary on it. The name Mary may refer to Mary Magdalene, and not the Virgin Mary. The Merovingians and the
Templars are associated with the Priory of Sion, the Holy Grail and the descendents of Christ lineage theories.

The Mary’s- There are more than one Mary (Miriam/Maryam in Hebrew and Arabic) in the
Bible. Each one plays a pivotal role in Biblical events. The name obviously has some type of spiritual significance, considering the importance of each Mary.
1) Mary mother of Christ- Gave birth to the Christ who was also rightful king of the Jews. She also had the blood of the priestly Levites in her veins. She also supported her son throughout his ministry.
2) Miriam sister of Moses and Aaron- In Exodus 2:4-7, Miriam is the one who makes sure that the infant Moses makes his way safely down the river (Nile) to the pharaohs daughter. She is also called a prophetess in Ex. 15:20-21. Miriam, like Moses is of the Tribe of the Levites who were the hereditary priest of Israel.
3) Mary of Magdalene- There are various theories about her. Some call her an adulteress and even prostitute. Mary is not named in any of these passages. Therefore, there is no proof that she was any of these. We must assume that she was another of Jesus’ female supporters. She was also the first person that Jesus appeared to after his resurrection. There is also a theory that Jesus and
Mary were married and that the wedding at Cana was their own. See Gospel of St. John 2:9
4) Mary of Bethany - the other Mary (St. Matthew 27:61 and 28:1). She is another one of Christ’s supporters. She is supposed to be the sister of Lazarus, whom Christ raised from the dead. She is also said to have anointed him with oil and wiped his feet with her hair at the dinning table
(St. John 11:1-2). Some believe that Mary of Magdalene and Mary of Bethany was the same person.
5) Mary-Jacob (St. Mary the Gypsy)- One of the members of Mary Magdalene’s retinue that arrived with her in France. Her cult of worship was popular in England and other parts of
Europe.
6) Mary-Cleophas- Jesus’ maternal aunt
Is the name Mary a title? Mary/Mery= beloved in the Egyptian language.

- The Bible makes several references to Africa. In St. Matthew 2:13-15, says “ out of Egypt have
I called my son”. Genesis 2:13 states that one of the rivers of the Garden of Eden is near the
“Land of Ethiopia”.
The Daughter of Ham- the founder of Egypt. She is sometimes referred to as Egyptus.
St. Sarah (the Egyptian)- St. Sarah is worshipped by the Gypsies as Queen of the Gypsies. Also known as Kali Sara or Sara la Kali (Black Sarah). She was said to have arrived in Southern
France with Mary Magdalene. Mary and Jesus were supposed to have been husband and wife.
The girl Sara is supposed to have been their daughter who married into a Gallic or Frankish family and became the ancestress of the Merovingian dynasty of French kings. She is also worshipped by non-Gypsies in the south of France.
Mary-Jacob- A “gypsy” that arrived with Mary Magdalene in France.
Danaus- Brother of Aegyptus. His brother demanded that his nieces (The Danaides) marry his sons. Their father rejected the offer and then changed his mind. He plotted with his daughters to kill their husbands. They all complied except for one of them, Hypermnestra. She married her cousin, and became the ancestor of Danae. Danae was the mother of Perseus, who married the
Ethiopian princess Andromeda. Perseus is the ancestor of Perses, the legendary progenitor of the Persians.
Perses- The legendary ancestor of the Persians. He was the son of Perseus and the Ethiopian princess Andromeda
Egyptus- The daughter of Ham. She was supposed to have been the mother of the first pharaoh.
Aegyptus- A son of the Nile god according to Greek mythology. He was supposed to be black due to his proximity to the sun. His brother Danaus is the ancestor of the Greek hero Perseus.

His son Lynceus married his cousin Hypermnestra and was the ancestors of the Greek Argives.
Aesop (Aethiop)- Famous for his fables. Aesop is said to have been of African descent, hence the name Aesop (Aethiop/Ethiop=black faced).
Shabazz- An ancient African tribe, who is said to be the first tribe of humanity. Shabazz is also supposed the ancestral tribe of all African-Americans.
Black Madonna’s- These are found all over Europe, especially in Poland and southern France. It is believed that the do not represent the Virgin Mary, but Mary Magdalene and St. Sarah (the
Egyptian). The most famous is Our Lady of Czetechowa. These Madonnas are actually based on an ancient Egyptian prototype- Isis and the baby Horus. Isis is also a mother goddess.
Senior de Esquipulas- Image of a black Jesus worshipped in Guatemala. This image goes back to Maya times when one of its deities known as “the black man” was revered.
Prester John- Mythological black Christian king of east Africa. He is supposed to be only legendary. Many European monarchs and explorers set out to find him to no avail. He may have really existed under a different name. It just happens to be a coincidence that East Africa
(Ethiopia) was one of the early Christian kingdoms. Legend also has it, that Prester John may have been a descendent of one of the Magi that visited Jesus at the nativity.
St. Elesban- King, hermit, and a saint from Ethiopia, who lived during the 6 th
century A.D.
Zeus Ethiops- A title of the Greek god Zeus. Ethiops means “black faced”. In Greek myths there are tales of Zeus vacationing with the Ethiopians. Also in the myths, Zeus and Io give birth to a son Epaphus who was born in Egypt. According to the Greeks, Egypt was a colony of
Ethiopians. Epaphus was the ancestor of Danaus, an Arabian king.

The Second Coming- Supposed to be the return of Christ. A second coming does not actually have to mean the return of the physical being Jesus. When Jesus died on the cross, he was resurrected
(returned) after three days and eventually ascended into heaven. Therefore, he came twice, once at birth, and then at rebirth (resurrection). The second coming may refer to the return of the bloodline of King David. According to popular belief, there is a bloodline descended from Jesus and Mary Magdalene (in the south of France). There is also line descended from David through
King Solomon and the Queen of Sheba. The return of the line may represent a leader who would be king and priest. This descendent may come out of Southern France or Ethiopia/East
Africa, considering the Haile Sellasie connection (descendent of Solomon and Sheba).

Church of Satan- The Church of Satan was founded by Antoine La Vey. It does not acknowledge any other Satanic organization as part of its church. They acknowledge that there are other so called Satanists, but only recognize one Church of Satan. It may seem strange that the Church of Satan be in a chapter on Christianity. A Satanist is a person who is usually a former Christian and a “renegade” against the church. The symbol for Satanism is usually the inverted cross
(opposite of the Christian cross). Satanist, like Christians have a bible, mass, ritual, commandments, etc.., Some of their beliefs are self indulgence, as opposed to denial. Contrary to popular belief they do not condone sex with children or animals.
Satanism- The belief in the Devil, Lucifer, Satan or even Set. Various religions based upon the worship of some type of an opposite to Christ. Some are said to engage in bizarre ritual sacrifices that include children and/or animals.
Opus Dei- God’s work. Opus Dei is a Catholic society for lay persons. It was founded by a
Spanish priest named Jose Maria Escriva. He was a well known right wing supporter of
Francisco Franco during the Spanish Civil War. It is also rumored that they had some association with or even supported Adolf Hitler during WWII. Some of their beliefs include self mortification, and the wearing of painful cilices and hair shirts. Members join in order to lead a holier life, without having to become priest or nuns. Some members even live in “houses” or apartments owned by Opus Dei in order to explore their spirituality or holiness. Opus Dei is considered to be a secret society by some, and is even called a form of Catholic Freemasonry.
The Council of Nicea- Held in 325 A.D. This is a full three centuries since the death of Jesus
Christ. It was held by the Roman Emperor Constantine to decide upon the relationship of the

Trinity. At this time there was more than one form of Christianity, before the rise and supremacy of the Roman Catholic Church. Constantine wanted a way to create political unity throughout the Roman Empire. He was a soldier and did not like disorder. It was decided that
The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit were one and the same, equals. Prior to this there were various beliefs about the son and Holy Spirit being subordinate to the father. It also decided that Jesus was both human and divine, in a statement known as the Nicene Creed. It is recited in Catholic
Churches every Sunday. The relationship was decided by theologians and the pagan Roman emperor, Constantine, who did not actually convert to Catholicism until the hour of his death.
There would not be any other accepted form of Christianity until the Protestant Reformation
There were also other heresies such as the Donatist, Monophysites, and theNestorians. The
Donatist believed that the scripture could not be valid if the priest lacked moral character. The
Nestorians believed that Christ was of a dual nature. They believed that he was two (not 3) persons with two differing natures. The Monophysites believed that he was purely divine. The
Church decided in the 5 th
century (almost 500 years after his birth and death) that he was one person with two natures. The important point is that people, who did not even know Christ, did not live in the same era as he did, and decided upon his nature. This has carried down to all forms of Christianity, by way of the Catholic Church. Baptist, Methodist, Anglican, Episcopal, are all Protestant forms of Christianity, yet they all still show the influence of the Catholic
Church. The cross, the trinity, Christmas, Easter, etc., all began with the Catholic Church.
Armageddon- Tel Megiddo (Har Megiddo). A region in the Jezreel Valley, near Mt. Tabor in
Israel. It is located at a crossroads of ancient trade routes. It is supposed to be the location of the final battle, during the end of days.
Bogomils- A form of heretic Christianity founded by the Bulgars. It is a dualistic religion related to
Zoroastrianism and Manichaeism. They did not worship the Virgin Mary, only baptized adults, believed the archangels Michael and Satanael to be the sons of God, and did not believe in the

divinity of Jesus Christ and did not worship idols, such as the cross. The Bogomils are the precursor to religions such as the Cathars.
Martinist- Based upon the teachings of Luis Claude de St. Martin and Martines de Pasqually. It is considered an esoteric religion, and is supposed to be a form of Christianity. Their symbol is the 6 pointed star or hexagram. The number 6 is usually considered the number of the beast and/or the number of man. They believe that through meditations and prayers that they may receive the help of Jesus who will restore man to his former self, before the fall from grace in
Eden. Martinism has some similarities to freemasonry and Rosicrucianism, because it has certain rites, lodges, and degrees.
Papus- Gerard Encausse. He is one of the founders of Martinism that is associated with occult practices. He was also a member of a Theosophy group and of The Order of Golden Dawn. He was also known to be acquainted with the family of Czar Nicholas and had given them warnings against Rasputin.
Constantine- Emperor of Rome. He claimed that he saw a vision in the sky of the Jesus symbol
(chi-rho), with the words “Conquer by this sign”. He conquered his rival Maxentius at the
Battle of Milvian Bridge. After that he became the sole emperor of Rome. He is responsible for the Edict of Milan (313 a.d.), which stopped the persecution of the Christians and recognized it as an actual religion. He was a sun worshipper and devotee of the god Mitras. Constantine was a soldier and did not like disorder. He is also known for organizing Christianity into the Roman
Catholic (universal) Church. Therefore, he organized all of the pagan elements from the Greco-
Roman world and the mystery religions of the east into the church as we know it. He was a pagan until he was converted upon his deathbed. It may have been his choice or forced upon him while he lay in his weakened state.
The Edict of Milan- 313 A.D. The edict given by Constantine to stop the persecution of the
Christians and to promote religious toleration in the Roman Empire.

Anne Boelyn- Second wife of King Henry the VIII. She had spent time in the French court, knew how to read and play cards, and engaged in political conversations (unusual for most women of her time). She was also rumored to have been a witch and a heretic. Her marriage to
Henry ushered in the break with the Catholic Church and the move toward Protestantism. This move led to the formation of the Anglican Church and a permanent break with Rome. Her daughter was Queen Elizabeth the I of England.

Religions
The Star of David/Seal of Solomon(The Hexagram)- The six pointed star or hexagram is a famous symbol. It is usually associated with Judaism, and King David of Israel. David was said to have had this symbol upon his shield when he fought the Philistine giant Goliath. In occult circles it is called the Seal of Solomon. King Solomon(son of David) was considered to be a wise king and a powerful magician. According to legend Solomon was able to command spirits
(jinn). In esoteric circles it is used as a tool for magic. The six points also represent the number of man.
The Pentagram-The five pointed star. This star is sometimes associated with the Wiccan religion, the goddess, and paganism. It is a symbol of the morning star (Venus/Ishtar) and
Lucifer the morning or falling star. Five is also the number of the goddess and also Christ’s

wounds (the Stigmata). An inverted pentagram is a symbol of darkness or opposite of the goddess, and also The Left Hand Path ( the dark arts and/or Satanism).
The Crescent and Star- Well known as an Islamic symbol. The origins are actually older than the Islamic religion. The crescent moon is a goddess symbol. It represents the virgin goddess
Artemis (Diana). The star is a symbol of another goddess Venus ( also Isis/ Ishtar). The moon is a fertility symbol, and therefore represents the female and her associations with the heavenly body. The word crescent comes from the Latin word crescere, meaning to increase, which also means birth, fertility, etc,,.
Nazarites and Rastafarians- In the Old Testament the Nazarite is mentioned as someone chosen by God. Samson of the tribe of Dan was a Nazarite, and was said to have worn his hair in 7 locks down his back (Judges 13:1-7). A Nazarite is not supposed take any strong drink, never eat an unclean thing, and never cut his hair, unless he kills someone, and then he must cut off his hair (Number 6:1-9). Both males and females could take the vow of the Nazarite.
According to one Rastafarian I knew, in the Rastafarian religion members are not supposed to cut their hair, unless they have been around death. They wear their hair in dreadlocks and also do not eat of unclean things, such as pork. Jesus, who was called a Nazarene, was also said to have worn his hair in locks. If Jesus did wear his hair long, that would have been an unfashionable style for anyone in Roman times. The name Nazarene would almost imply that
Christ was from Nazareth. Yet, he was born in Bethlehem. Why isn’t he called Jesus of
Bethlehem instead ? Rastafarianism is also based upon the worship of Haile Sellasie/Ras Tafari
(emperor of Ethiopia) as King of Kings, a descendent of Kings David and Solomon of Israel, and therefore a true distant descendent (and relative) of Jesus.
Sufism- An esoteric form of Islam. In mainstream Islam the main belief is submission to God
(Allah). In Sufism, the belief is total reliance on god and remembering God’s existence. Sufis encourage communing with ones inner divinity. Sufi’s are also associated with the Dervishes.

Dervish- A form of Sufism. A Dervish is like a mendicant. They beg in order to give to the poor.
They are sometimes known as whirling Dervishes. The dance puts them in sort of a trance and is a form of religious ecstasy in which they become closer to God.
Judeo-Christian- The 3 religious tradition based upon the beliefs of the Hebrew Abraham and his various descendants. Judeo-Christianity includes Judaism, Christianity, and Islam.
Abraham- Father of many races.Father of the Judeo-Christian religions. A Hebrew.
Abraham and Sara = Isaac. Isaacs descendants are Jacob and Esau. Hebrew/Israelites.
Abraham and Hagar ( his Egyptian concubine) = Ishmael. His descendants are Nebajom,
Kedar,Adbeel,Mibsam,Mishma, Dumah, Massa, Hadar, Tema, Jetur, Naphish, Kedemah. Most
Arabian and Arabic peoples.
Abraham and Keturah (his Nubian wife)- Zimra, Jokshan,Medan, Midian, Ishbak, and Shua.
Their descendants include Sheba and also Midian, as in the Midianites whim Moses married into. Arabian and East African peoples.
Lot- Abraham’s nephew. After the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, Lot and his daughters hid out in the caves. They supposedly thought that they were the last humans on earth. In order to repopulate the earth they “seduced” their father and had children by him. The lineage of the
Hebrew Lot and his daughters are called the Moabites and the Amonites* (Children of Amon) or Ben Ammi.
* Libyans of North Africa worshiped a god called Ammon. Egyptians worshiped Amen. There is also an ancestor of Jesus is named Amon (See St. Matthew 1:10).

Hebrews- The ancestors of the Israelites. Moses, Abraham, Isaac, and Lot were Hebrews. The
Hebrews are not the Jews or even Israelites. They were a variety of nomadic peoples who shared a language and culture. The Hebrew Abraham came from Ur of the
Chaldees(Chaldea=Babylon/Mesopotamia).The Hebrews at the time, including Abrahams family, were polytheistic. The religion and origins of the Hebrews is obscure. Later, certain clans of
Hebrews became Israelites, and then eventually Jews.
Israelites- The Israelites are descendants of a specific tribe of Hebrews. In the Bible, Jacob becomes known as Israel after he wrestles with God or an angel of God. The Israelites are the
12 tribal descendants of the Hebrew Jacob.
Jews- Are members of the Judaic religion. They are not Hebrews. The Jews are the remnant of the tribes of Judah and Benjamin. These were the only two tribes left after the dispersal of the
Jews by the Assyrians.
Kazars/Khazars- A group of Turkik Indo-Europeans from the steppe area of Eurasia (Russia). In
740 A.D. the kingdom of the Kazars converted to Judaism. This means that a large number of east European Jews are not of Jewish, Middle Eastern or even of Hebrew ancestry.
Noah and Rebekah- Both of these Biblical figures have the ability to produce offspring of various complexions. Noah has 3 sons that equal the 3 races of man. Rebekah has twin sons
(Jacob and Esau) who have different skin colors.
Jacob= Israel Esau= Edom/Idumea
In the Bible Jacob usurps his brother’s birthright twice. Esau was supposed to be the one to receive his fathers (Isaac) blessings, because he was the oldest. Jacob takes his brothers inheritance and passes it down to his descendants, the

Israelites (later known as the Jews). Later some Edomites (Idumeans) converted to Judaism, although the Edomites were already Hebrew.
Edom (Esau) married in with the daughters (female descendants) of Ishmael. Ishmael was
Abraham’s half Egyptian son. In the Bible Egypt is referred to as Misr (Arabic = Misraim), a son of Ham.
King Herod and his family were Idumeans. They were also part Jewish. They may have saw themselves as the rightful rulers of “Judaea”, due to the fact that Esau (Edom) was suppose to inherit the legacy of Isaac, not the descendants of Israel (Jacob).
Vespers- Early morning prayers usually performed by monks.
Vesper/Hesper- West. Venus
The west is associated with the planet Venus as the evening star and wisdom.
Wicca- Sometimes known as witchcraft (witta). Wicca is actually a nature religion, which would fall under the category of paganism. The wiccan religion does not acknowledge or believe in the existence of Satan or the Devil. They are not in league with Satan. It is mostly a goddess based religion, but also acknowledges a god and duality. The word comes from the
Germanic Old English wiss meaning witch, and is also related to wis meaning wise, wyscan to wish, and witan to know. Also videre-(Latin) to see, Sanskrit- vid = to know, vis as in vision = to see, Old Fench guise (wise), and Anglo-Saxon witega- prophet. These are the root words of wit and wizard. Wicca is also known as the craft of the wise. Therefore, a witch was someone who had knowledge about nature and the elements. This also included midwives. Some symbols of wicca are the pentagram and moon symbols. One of the main tenets of Wicca is “
And ye harm no one do what ye will”. This means you are free to practice your craft as long as it does not cause harm to someone else. Not too wicked sounding at all.
Cathars- Also known as Albigensians. A form of Christianity that was branded a heresy during the Middle Ages. Catharism came to Europe by way of Asiatic Bulgars (Bulgarians). It is related

to Gnosticism, Bogomilism and eastern Manichaeism. Catharism is a dualistic religion. They believed this world was created by the evil God and not by the good God. The world was matter, and therefore evil and man had a soul, and was considered spiritual. The job of man was to live in a godly way in order to escape the flesh or be reincarnated into this world. It became very popular in Northern Italy and Southern France around the Languedoc region. Unlike the rest of
Europe during the “Dark Ages” the Languedoc area was very advanced, educated, and civilized.
Ideas about poetry and courtly love took root there at an early period. It was also a very independent and rich region. The pope and other nobility coveted their wealth. The crusade against the Cathars began in 1209 A.D. The Catholic Church sent over twenty thousand knights down upon them. Some towns lost fifteen thousand people at one time. The knights asked the
Pope’s representative about distinguishing between Cathars and non-Cathars , and his response was basicall to kill all of them and God would know the difference. By the 14 th
century
Catharism had been wiped out by the Albigensian Crusade.
After the fall of Montsegur ( a fortress in the mountains), a rumor circulated that the Cathars had hidden a treasure somewhere. Most theories claim that the treasure was some sort of information, manuscripts, etc. The Knights Templars, the legends of Mary Magdalene, the bloodline of Christ, and the Holy Grail are all associated with this region. The Knights
Templars are also said to have had a treasure or a secret of some sort, but just like the Cathars, no one was ever sure what it really was.
Kabala- A mystical form of Judaism. The Kabala or Cabala is said to have originated with
Moses. It has obvious Egyptian influence. It is considered to be a secret type of knowledge.
Some associated it with magic and alchemy.
Books of Moses (6, 7, 8, 9, and 10 th
)- These are extra biblical books attributed to Moses. Moses is supposed to be the writer of the first 5 books of the Bible (or Torah) called the Pentateuch.

Hoodoo- Is an offshoot of Voodoo. Hoodoo mixes African religion with Native American and sometimes European (Catholic) practices. It is considered a form of Afro-American folk magic.
It has some similarities to Santeria.

Voodoo- A West African religion. Voodoo (or Vodun) was practiced around the areas of
Nigeria, Benin, Ghana, etc. It is a nature religion that reveres earth spirits. Although spirits are worshipped, there is also a supreme creator, just like in Christianity. There are also various other deities such as Oshun, Babalu-Aye, Erzulie, and Shango. Voodoo is practiced in Brazil,
Louisiana, Haiti, Cuba, and other parts of the Caribbean. It is basically practiced in all of the areas where African slaves were imported.
Gris-Gris- A form of Hoodoo where charms and talismans are used. For example mojo bags.
(Gris= grey, in between black and white)
Black Magic- The left hand path. This is supposed to be an evil form of magic. It used in order to cause some type of harm to someone, usually an enemy. It is also associated with black witchcraft and Satanism.
White Magic- A so called form of good magic. The opposite of Black Magic.
Most people believe that magic is neither good nor evil. It is up to the practitioner to decide.
Santeria- A from of Voodoo that uses saints as a “replacement” for the African gods. The African god’s are not actually replaced, only names are replaced. During slavery, Africans could not practice their own religions, so they used Catholic saints in order to make it appear that they had really converted to Christianity, while they were practicing their own religion. Santeria combines Voodoo with Catholicism. It is usually practiced in the Latin-American countries by black Latino descendants of African slaves. Similar to Hoodoo.

Gods
Atum(Atm)- Egyptian creator god. Atum is indevisible and yet divisble like the atom.
Atman- Hinduism. The self. (See atum)
Ieus- Zeus (Ieus/Jesus ?)
Mithras- Mithra or Mitras was a god of light worshipped in Persia and North India. He was also worshiped by Roman soldiers, such as Constantine. Mithras was said to have been born of a virgin in a cave or grotto on December 25.
Mount Olympos- Not to be confused with the modern day Mt. Olympus(Olympos) in Greece.
Mt. Olympus was an obscure abode of the Greek Olympian gods. It was supposedly so big that you could hang the earth off of one of its peaks. Therefore it was a realm unto itself beyond the

confines of the planet Earth.
Nectar and Ambrosia- The food of the gods. The gods need this combination to live and keep going just like a hummingbird needs the nectar of various plants to keep itself moving. The
“gods” must have had a different metabolism than the “humans” and required a different type of nourishment. Tree of Life/ Tree of Knowledge
- If some gods required “nectar and ambrosia” to live, what about those gods who required blood sacrifices ? Religious history is filled with gods who required either some type of human (or other animal)), or their blood as a sacrifice.
Zeus- The head of the 12 Olympian gods. The word Zeus is Greek and of the Indo-European language family. Yet, when you trace the name back into history, you find that it has more
Asiatic origins than anything.
The word Zeus is related to the Greek word theos meaning god (as in theology). The word theo goes back to early Asiatic and the later Indo-European root words. It comes from the words sius, siwat, and tiwaz from the (Asiatic) *Hittite and Luwian languages. Later is found in
Sanskrit as dyaus, deva, deavki, devi (all related to words like divine and divinity). Dyaus Pitar
(sky god/sky father) became Jupiter in Latin. The words deus (like Zeus) and dei (deity) become dios (god) in Spanish and dieu (god in French), as in adios (to god ? goodbye) and adieu (goodbye). In the Germanic/Teutonic/Scandinavian, you have tiw (as in Tuesday), tyr, tiwaz and tig. In the Nahuatl language of Mexico the word (affix) for God is Teotl
Dione- An early female counterpart to Zeus. She predates his union with his sister Hera. The name Dione has the prefix -dio(theo) in it meaning god. Zeus may have at one time been a dualistic god and when taken over by the ancestors of the earliest Greeks, became a male god.
Brass Serpent- Also known as Nehushtan. This was a brass serpent created by Moses (Numbers
21:7-9). I find it interesting that Moses is associated with serpents more than once in the Bible.
Remember, that his staff became a serpent, and consumed the serpents of the pharaoh. In 2

Kings 18:1-4, Hezekiah the son of Anaz becomes king and destroys the brass serpent, in order to keep the people from worshipping it. It is also said that the serpent could heal anyone who was bitten by a snake. Also the snake or serpent was one of the emblems of Egyptian royalty.
This once again alludes to the fact that Moses was an Egyptian.
Akhenaten also carried a staff with a brass serpent atop of it.
Asherah- A Semitic goddess sometimes worshipped by the Hebrews and Israelites. She is also known as Astarte in Mesopotamian cultures. Although the Israelites, were supposed to be monotheistic, they tended to worship other gods from time to time.
Baal- Lord. Baal is a Canaanite god who like Asherah was sometimes worshipped by the
Israelites. It is even said that King Solomon indulged in the worship of Baal. The name was later applied to various demonic figures, in order to keep the Jews and later the Christians from worshipping him. The name was altered to Beelzebub, meaning Satan or one of Satan’s minions.
* Baal is also Phoenician and/North African. Parts of Spain such as, were also Phoenician colonies. Seen in the North African name Hannibal. In Spain as the last names Lardizabal, etc.
Shekhinah- The spirit of God, when it dwells upon the Earth. Shekhinah is also considered the female side of the spirit of God.
Tlaloc- Aztec god of water and rain. He is pictured with fangs and large circles around his eyes.
The circles give him the appearance of wearing goggles. The goggles may represent the fact that he is lord of the waters. I have 3 ideas about Tlaloc’s appearance.
1) A member of an advanced civilization. He may have traveled by water and appeared out of the waters wearing protective goggles and something over his mouth, hence the “fangs”.
2) A merman
3) The native people depicted him that way due to his association with water. This is like the

Roman Neptune or Triton, who are also depicted as mermen.
Why would he need goggles if he is a creature of the sea ?
Quetzalcoatl- The feathered serpent. To the Maya he was Kukulcan (feathered serpent).
The God- The god Quetzalcoatl is a Mesoamerican deity. He represents the 4 cardinal points.
His adversary is Tezcatlipoca (smoking mirror/obsidian).
The Man/legend- Ce Acatl Topiltzin Quetzalcoatl ( one reed, our prince, the feathered serpent) was born during the period of 1 reed. This is a cycle that only repeats itself every 52 years on the Mesoamerican calendar. He was born into a prophecy. He was said to have been a benevolent and pious ruler. He outlawed human sacrifice and civilization flourished under him.
The priest of another faction opposed him. They were adherents to the god Tezcatlipoca, and sought a return to human sacrifice. When ever I hear the words smoke and mirrors
(Tezcatlipoca=smoking mirror), I think of tricks and illusions. The priest of Tezcatlipoca used all types of tricks in order to get Quetzalcoatl to sin. Finally, he lost his power, fled, and vowed one day to return on another 52 year cycle. The legend says that he fled into Central America and was called Kukulcan. Some believe that the Spanish conqueror Hernan Cortes was the revenge or return that he spoke of. Cortes’ arrival in Mexico (and the Americas) coincides with the cycle of one reed (ce acatl).
Aztec chroniclers may have used the legend as a way to explain their defeat by the Spaniards.
This does not mean that they believed Cortes to be Quetzalcoatl.

Tammuz- Son of the sun/god Nimrod. He is a resurrection and vegetation god.
Ioa (Yao)- Nepalese savior god. He was the son of God and the human incarnation of God.

Sophia- The goddess of wisdom. As in Hagia Sophia (Church of the Holy Wisdom) and philosophy (philo= love sophia = knowledge)
Aton- Aton is the Egyptian word for the sun disk. The worship of Aton became popular under the heretic pharaoh Akhenaton. Atonism took precedence over the other gods. It was actually an early form of monotheism (the worship of one god).
The “Hebrew” Moses was born in Egypt. Even the name Moses is Egyptian, and common to many pharaohs and other royalty. For example look at the names of the pharaohs Ahmose,
Tutmosis, and Ramses (Ra-ahmoses). The suffix -mose/meses/moses all mean something like prince or heir.
Tutmosis = son of Thoth
-The life of the pharaoh Akhenaton also parallels that of Moses.

The religion that Moses introduced was Atonism. The Hebrew word Adon/Adonai (lord) shares a common root with the word aton. Both ancient Egyptian and Hebrew are Afro-Asiatic languages, and therefore have similar origins. It is just a matter of pronunciation and dialect.
Also in Near Eastern and Greek mythology there is a youth named Adon(is). The name is usually associated with male perfection. The name Aton can be also found in the word tetragramaton. The tetragramaton is a Hebrew word for the four letters of God’s name,Yahweh(YHWH). The word aton obviously means god, and it is not Hebrew at all, but of
Egyptian.
Amen-Every time someone ends their prayers, they say Amen. What does it mean and where does it come from? It is like a declaration at the end, almost like “sealing the bargain”. We must not forget that Christianity is derived from Judaism. The Israelites (Jews) spent generations in
Egypt. The two languages are related. The closest relative to Amen is the Egyptian word Amen
(Amen-Ra), the sun god. The sun was an almighty supreme being to the Egyptians and was considered omnipotent, just like Yahweh to the Hebrews (later Israelites and then Jews). Yet, if
Moses worshipped Aton (Adonai/Atonai=lord), why would he add Amen-Ra to the end of prayers? It was Moses who first defined and structured Judaism. He may have added Amen into prayers as a way to appease those who still clung to the old Egyptian beliefs. Read Exodus, there were many who still wanted to return to their homes in Egypt. Also remember that the
Aton was the entire sun disk, so Moses/Akhenaten may have merged the two. Most of our
Biblical characters were Hebrew/Israelites/Jews, including Jesus (who also went into Egypt).
Therefore, a remnant of Egyptian religion has come down to us by way of the Judeo-Christian tradition.

Hermes- Also known as Mercury and Hermes Trismegistus. Known as the winged messenger
(angelos) of the Greek and Roman gods. In occult circles he is something more. Hermes is the god of knowledge, science, and quick thinking. He is associated with the Egyptian Thoth
(Djehuti), who is god of writing, science, and magic. They say it is good to pray to Hermes on a
Wednesday before taking a test or going on a job interview. He is also called thrice born or thrice great. His symbol is the caduceus and also winged sandals. He is said to have written about secret knowledge and power in a text called the Hermetica.
Thoth- The Egyptian god of knowledge, magic, science, and writing. He is depicted with an ibis head holding a writing tablet or as a baboon. Thoth (Toth, Djehuti) was said to have introduced writing (hieroglyph=sacred symbols/writing), and various other arts to humanity. He is also associated with Maat the goddess of the scales of justice.
Kokopelli- The humped back flute player. The image of Kokopelli can be found throughout northern Arizona and New Mexico. His hair always appears to be standing on end. He may have been an early prophet, culture bearer, or priest king, given the prevalence of the image.
Orishas- From the Yoruba religion and culture. Orishas are spirits that are the incarnation of the principle god Oludumare. Some popular Orishas are Shango and Oshun. Various one have attributes such as the orisha of marriage or love.
Loa- These are spirits of the Voodoo religion. The loa are kind of like angels. There are many loa, such as Erzulie, Ezilie, and Baron Samedi. They are associated with concepts such as love, death, beauty, etc.

Babalu Aye- No this is not something just made up by Ricky Ricardo (Desi Arnaz) on “I Love
Lucy”. This is an actual orisha of the Voodoo and Santeria religion. Babalu-Aye is the god of disease and pestilence. He is very popular in Cuba, the homeland of Desi Arnaz, and is associated with San Lazaro (St. Lazarus).
Imhotep- An Egyptian Architect and physician. He was deified after his death. The Greek
Asclepius is borrowed from Imhotep.
Asclepius- Greek god of medicine, surgery, health, and healing. He is derived from Imhotep.
His symbol is the caduceus.
Xipe Totec- The flayed one. Aztec god of spring, fertility, and regeneration. He is usually shown with his skin peeling of like some sort of a ripe fruit. Jesus Christ was also flayed and is also a symbol of resurrection/regeneration/renewal/Spring.
Oshun- Aslo spelled as Osun and Ochun. Yoruba (orisha) goddess of love and beauty.
Xango- Also spelled Sango, Shango, and Chango. He is the Yoruba orisha of the sky, weather, and thunder. Similar to the Greek Zeus.

Chapter 6
Descendants
Mary Magdalene- Mary (Magdala) was accused of being a whore, adulteress, etc. There is no proof of these allegations. She was one of Jesus’ main supporters. According to current theories, Mary was the wife of Jesus Christ. She was supposed to have been a descendent of the tribe of Benjamin, and also of noble heritage.
In art she is portrayed in various ways.
1) A red haired woman. Red hair was unusual in the ancient Middle East. Perhaps she was not fully
Jewish, and may have been part Celtic/Gallic. The use of henna is also popular in the Middle
East, so maybe her hair was dyed red.
2) Sitting near a skull in deep thought
3) Anointing and washing the feet of Christ.
The skull may be a symbol of Golgotha (skull hill) where Jesus was crucified. It could also represent the dismembered head of John the Baptist. There is some belief that Mary may have been the wife of John. After his death, she married his closest male relative, Jesus (see entry on the Last Supper). This could be the reason she was mistakenly called an adulteress.
She is also a symbol for something much bigger. Mary was said to have had a child with Jesus, the heir of King David. After the death of Christ, Mary fled to Gaul (ancient France) along with
Joseph of Arimathea. Legend says that when she arrived, she had a dark skinned “Egyptian” girl with her named Sarah. The rumor is that Sarah was the child she gave birth to on the long voyage to Gaul. The children of Sarah married in with the Gauls and later the Franks (French).
The Silver Chalice/ Holy Grail- The Grail was also supposed to hold the blood of Christ. The

quest for the Grail may be a quest for Holy DNA.
The Holy Grail- The Holy Grail makes me think of King Arthur, the Knights of the Round
Table, and Camelot. Due to Arthurian legends most people think that the Holy Grail is the cup that Jesus drank from during the Last Supper. Also as the cup that was used to capture the blood of Christ in it during the crucifixion. The Quest for the grail is always about some knight searching for the cup as a means to resurrect the powers of Camelot, King Arthur, and the
Fisher King.
The word Holy Grail comes from the French San (sainted/holy) Graal (Grail). This is a corruption of the word sang (blood) real (royal). The royal blood is a reference to the descendants of Jesus Christ (and Mary Magdalene) in France.
The family usually associated with this bloodline is the Merovingian Dynasty. The
Merovingians were known as the ‘long haired” kings. For some reason, like Samson (and Jesus) who was a Nazarite, the Merovingians did not cut their hair. The last real Merovingian king,
Dagobert, was murdered. Another Merovingian king Childeric, had his hair cut publicly to shame him. He was then imprisoned by the pope and died a few years later. After this the
Carolingians (ancestors of Charlemagne) usurped the throne. This was supposed to have been then end of the line. The line is still supposed to secretly exist. This secret was said to have been known to the Knights Templar and a more hidden group called the Priory of Sion.
Cups, Hearts, and Grails are goddess symbols.

St. Luke (22:9-10)- Jesus tells the apostles to look for a man carrying a “pitcher of water” and for them to follow him. Mythological water bearers (Aquarius) are Hebe (female) and
Ganymede(male).
The Birth of Venus (by Botticelli)-Art always has symbolism. Heretical beliefs had to be hidden from the eyes of the Roman Catholic Church or face excommunication. The Birth of Venus is supposed to depict the arrival of Venus on the shores of Cyprus or Cythera, by way of a large shell (a fertility symbol) with cupids (or angels) around her. I do not ever remember hearing any

reference to Venus or Aphrodite as being red haired. The red haired woman in most Christian paintings is Mary Magdalene. The Birth of Venus is actually a symbol for the arrival of Mary unto the shores of Gaul. Strangely, Aphrodite (Venus) was said to have arrived in Cyprus near
Turkey where the Galatai/Galatians another group of Celtic Gauls lived.

Age of Aquarius- The time when after 2,000 years when change will begin. The change is supposed to be a spiritual renewal for mankind. It may be the rebirth of goddess worship.
Aquarius the water bearer in Greek myth was at one time a woman (Hebe) and then a young man (Ganymede). The Egyptian hieroglyph for water is two wavy lines, which became the letter “M” in our modern Latin (Phoenician) alphabet. The letter “M” is the initial of Mary
Magdalene the beaere of Christ’s seed, who also is known as the woman with the alabaster jar.
Aquarius carries a jug with “water” in it. The “jug” can be interpreted as the “Holy Grail” that carries Christ’s seed and secret. See above reference to Aquarius above from the Gospel of
Luke.
Sandro Botticelli- Botticelli was a descendent of Rene de Anjou, who was a descendent of
Godfroi de Bouillon a crusader “king” of Jerusalem, who claimed descent from the
Merovingians (lineage of Christ).
The Last Supper ((by Leonardo Da Vinci)- Leonardo Da Vinci is an alleged member of the
Priory of Sion and also a Merovingian descendent. There have been allegations that the figure next to Jesus is not John the Beloved , but Mary Magdalene. The name Mary has its origins in the Hebrew name Maryam and in turn is derived from the Egyptian name/word Mary/Meri, which means beloved . The languages of Hebrew, Arabic, and Aramaic are all derived from ancient Egyptian. Thus, what was John’s title? Could it have been John-Meri or Mary-John?
Therefore, the Beloved (= the Mary/Meri) is either a female sitting next to Christ or an effeminate looking man named John the Mary (beloved) or John the Beloved (the Mary). This
John is sometimes thought to be the author of the Gospel of St. John. This “author” refers to himself as the disciple that Christ loved.
*Beloved = someone who is greatly loved, close to the heart, to be loved.
If there can be a Mary-Cleophas , Mary-Jacob and Mary-Salome, why can’t there be a Mary-
John ? Perhaps the ending is associated with the name of a husband or elder male adult relative.
Then Mary-John would suggest that the husbands name was John. I propose that Mary and John are one and the same, and Da Vinci knew this. Mary-John (Mary Magdalene) was one of Jesus

most favored apostles and he may have intended her to either lead or help to lead the church. A woman as a leader in the male dominated Middle East is nothing new. The Pharaoh Hatshepsut was a woman. Yet, in artwork she is depicted as a male, wearing a beard and other pharonic devices and vestments. At that time a female pharaoh was not possible, therefore she had to be depicted as a male. Thus, Mary may have been portrayed as a male in order to maintain the
“status-quo”. Both Mary and John were at the crucifixion and both were among the first to see
Christ after the Resurrection.
The Gospel According to St. John (or Gospel of St. John)- The fourth book of the Gospels in the New Testament. St. John tells a first hand story of Christ. “He” refers to himself as the disciple or the disciple that Christ loved (John 19:27, 21:7-24). He does not refer to himself as
John. Yet, he mentions the word loved as in beloved . He does mention Mary Magdalene by name
The Lion of Judah- 1) A Jewish symbol for the family or tribe of Judah. Judah, along with
Benjamin, were the only Israelite tribes left after the other 10 tribes were dispersed. Together their descendents are known as Jews.
2) The Lion of Judah, is also a person. According to tradition, Haile Selassie, emperor of
Ethiopia, was a descendent of King Solomon and Queen Bilquis of Sheba. This would make him distantly related to Jesus Christ, since Jesus was a descendent of David, and Solomon was
David’s son. Haile Selassie was called King of Kings, because he was the heir to the Davidic throne of Israel. He was also known as Ras Tafari. The Rastafarian religion of Jamaica has its roots in Ethiopia. He is considered to be Jah* (god incarnate) by the Rastafarians. Nostradamus even made a prediction about him. According to the prophecy, he would be exiled and would be able to hide from or protect himself from his enemies. During WWII, Mussolini attacked
Ethiopia. Haile Selassie fled to Great Britain, where he plotted his return. He was successful.
There are only two countries in Africa that were not colonized, Ethiopia is one and the other is
Liberia, which is connected to the U.S.A.
Ethiopia is also said to be the hiding place of the Ark of Covenant. The ark is said to hold the commandments given by God to Moses on Mt. Sinai. They were supposed to have come to
Ethiopia with the Queen of Sheba. This may explain the presence of the Fallasha (Ethiopian)
Jews, in East Africa.
*In the 1980’s this part of the Garden of Eden was conquered be famine and war.

Secrets
The kingdom of Jerusalem- The kingdom of Jerusalem was founded around 1099A.D. by
European, mostly Frankish, crusaders. The first king of Jerusalem was Godfrey de Bouillon, an ancestor of Rene de Anjou.
Defender of the Holy Sepulcre- The title of the King of Jerusalem.
Salibiyya- An Arabian tribe that claims descent from the European Crusaders. During the crusades many knights and soldiers converted to Islam and took wives from the native population.
Outremer- The French name for the Holy Land during the crudsades.
The Knights Templar- The knights Templars was founded around 1118 A.D. by Hugh de Payen and eight other knights. They called themselves The Poor Knights of the Temple of Solomon.
They petitioned to the European crusader king of Jerusalem to make the order official. Their duty was supposed to be to protect pilgrims on the roads in the Holy Land. They lived in the stables of Solomon’s temple and were supposed to have taken vows of poverty. They were different from other holy orders of monks, because they were actually monk/soldiers. Rumors began to float around about the Templars digging up something in the foundations of the stables. It is believed that they found treasures and/or documents that were of great value to the
Catholic Church. After this the Templars became very rich and powerful. Their power spread all throughout Europe. They became the first bankers to establish lines of credit and something like travelers checks. The King of France, Philip the Fair, even owed them money. This eventually led to their demise. All types of accusations went around. The church and King
Phillip claimed that the templars held strange rituals and worshipped Satan and also a head

called Baphomet. On Friday, October the 13 th
, 1307 Jacques de Molay the last grandmaster of the Templars and most Templars in Europe were rounded up and put on trail. Most were burned at the stake for heresy.
No one ever knew how the Templar’s rose to power. Some claim that the documents that they found had something to due with Christ and his descendents. These documents may have even been written by the hand of Christ himself. Or that they found other information that would bring about the fall of the Catholic Church and Christianity itself. This was used as an exchange with the pope for various power granted to them. Whatever they found, they new exactly where to look, and what to do with the “treasure” after it was found.
The Templar Treasure- The material wealth (gold, diamonds, etc.) that the knights found. Also documents, journals, scrolls, mystical papyri and also proof that Jesus survived the crucifixion.
Hugh de Payen – The first grandmaster of the Knights Templar. Hugh de Payen was a vassal to
Count Hugh de Champagne.
Geoffrey de St. Omer- Templar founder.
Jacque de Molay- The last grand master of the Knights Templar.
Count Hugh de Champagne- The overlord of Hugh de Payen. He was also a relative of St.
Bernard of Clairvaux. Possibly also a member of the Templars.
The Red Cross- The red cross is a well known Templar symbol. It can be found on the flag of the neutral banking country Switzerland. The Swiss are known for their secret service like security that it provides for the Pope. The Popes personal guards are known as the Swiss Guard, and are answerable only to the Pope.
Another organization with a red cross symbol holds blood drives periodically. This store of blood would also hold DNA information. The search for blood may be a worldwide search for Christ DNA and bloodline descendents.
Baphomet- The goat head image that was supposed to have been worshiped by the Knights
Templar.The goat is usually considered a sexual symbol. Some say that Baphomet is Satan or even the goat legged god Pan. Others say that the word comes from Abufihamat, meaning father of wisdom. The wisdom part is correct, but the father part is wrong. Baphomet is a corruption of Paphomet (Paphos= the temple of the love goddess Venus) and (Maat/Metis=

goddess of wisdom). Paphomet means sexual wisdom as in hierosgamos which is the ritual union of male and female into one being. Hence, the association with the goat and Pan. The goat as well as the god Pan is associated with sexuality, rites, rituals, and wisdom. This union may reflect the union between Christ and Mary Magdalene.
Another meaning is Papos (granfather)- Metis(wisdom) = grandfather of wisdom
Baphomet is depicted as having goat legs, female looking breast, two horns with a flower emerging from the center, and shown with the moon and six pointed star(hexagram). The moon
= goddess/female, the hexagram= male, the flower= fleur de lis= goddess, and the goat legs and female looking breast = union of male and female into one being, like Adam was in the beginning.
The Priory of Sion- A group that claims that some or all of their members are the descendents of Jesus and Mary Magdalene. The priory is supposed to be the ultra secret society. They are said to have been the real founders of the Knights Templars. Some of their members were supposed to have been Leonardo Da Vinci, Boticelli, and Sir Isaac Newton.
The Chinon Parchment- This is a document that was found in the Vatican City’s secret and hidden archives. It proved that the Pope has absolved the Templars of the charges against them.
Somehow the parchment never got the chance to reach the authorities. It was lost to history. The
French king Phillip made sure to use this loss as a way to go ahead and have the Templars executed.
The Tarot and Playing Cards- The cards are divided into Hearts (cups), Diamonds
(pentagrams), Spades (swords), and Clubs/Clovers (wands). They can be interpreted as follows
Hearts/Cups = the Holy Grail, Diamonds/Pentagrams = the treasures of the grail and also a goddess symbol, Spades/Swords = Knights (as in Templars) and battles such as the Crusades,
Clubs/Wands = wisdom, wizardry, knowledge, alchemy. The playing cards which were once outlawed by nobility were a code for the Bloodline of Christ.

The Shroud of Turin- A shroud kept in the church at Torino in Italy. It is supposed to be the burial cloth of Jesus. It is supposed to have the image of Christ, his wounds, and blood upon it.
Some say that the image is not Christ, but on of the tortured Knights Templar. Radiocarbon dating places the shroud to be from the medieval period.
The Mandylion- Also known as the Image of Edessa. During the time of Christ, a king Akbar
(or Agbar), requested that Jesus come there and heal him of his sickness. Instead Jesus sent St.
Jude (Thaddeus) along with his image on a cloth. The cloth is said to have healed the king and he became a Christian. The cloth was kept within the city as a form of protection from invaders and marauders. The cloth was eventually taken to Constantinople and the people of Edessa fell and became pagans. After the late 1200’s the cloth was not seen again. Some believe the Edessa cloth and the Shroud of Turin are one and the same.
The Image on the Mandylion- The image of the head on the Mandylion is none other than John the Baptist. The word Mandylion has two roots. The word is related to the Latin word manta , meaning cloth, cloak, or mantle. As in mantle, mantilla, and mandil (Spanish =apron). It has also a double meaning. The name or word manda refers to the savior Manda d’ Hayye of the
Mand ean religion. The Mandeans trace their religion back to John the Baptist .
The Handkerchief of St. Veronica- Part of a Christian (Catholic) legend. In the Bible (New
Testament Mark 5:25) there is the story of a woman who had an issue of blood for 12 years. She touched Jesus robe, draining his energy, and was healed. Before the Crucifixion, while Jesus carried the cross, she is sad to be a woman who wiped his bloody brow. After, the image of
Christ’s face appeared upon her kerchief.
Nostradamus- Michel de Notre Dame/ Nostradamus (Michael of Our Lady). A French Jew from a coverso (Jews who “became Catholic”) family. A doctor and seer who practiced the Cabala and Christian mysticism. Possible member of a secret society based on the belief that Jesus and
Mary were husband and wife.
The Sphinx of Egypt- The Sphinx has been the subject of much mystery and debate. Some say it is the Pharaoh Kephren or Kaphre. The head of the Sphinx does not match the body.
Furthermore the entire structure shows strange weathering patterns that predate Egypt’s earliest

dynasties. The Sphinx also known as the “Father of Terror” is not a man at all. The Sphinx is the Goddess Sekhmet. Legend has it that she was the daughter of the sun god Ra. She ruled and reigned terror over Egypt until she put to sleep by her father. The statue is a remnant of goddess worship and the civilization that ruled Egypt before that of the pharaohs. Her face was recarved to be a man to show the people that she had been defeated.
The Thule Society- A secret society founded in Nazi Germany. They promoted the reconnecting of Germany’s pagan past. The society merged Germanic (Teutonic and Scandinavian) mythology with occult practices. Some believe that their goal was to use the occult to create advanced secret weapons
Wotanism- A form of Scandinavian/Germanic neo-paganism that promotes the worship of
Odin/Woden/Wotan and also White supremacy.
Odinism- A part of the neo-pagan Scandinavian/Germanic revival. Odinist worship the pre-
Christian gods and practice natural folk religion and medicine.
Asatru- A form of pre-Christian Scandinavian/Germanic religion. Their beliefs are faith, belief and honor of the gods. These are a specific group of gods commonly known as Aesir.
The Illuminati- The Illuminated or Enlightened ones. The Illuminati is an alleged secret society that is in control of all of the other ones. The members are said to work behind the scenes to control world events.
Annuit Coeptis- From the USA Seal. It is supposed to mean “ Announcing the birth” but literally means “annual birth”.

Illumination, the crown equals the goddess, and the book a symbol for knowledge.

Hiram Abiff- The builder of King Solomon’s Temple. The first Mason/Freemason. He was murdered by 3 of his apprentices for not divulging his building secrets.
Deism- The belief that God is like a clock maker who creates, winds everything up from time to time, and then leaves everything as is while he watches. Many of the founding fathers were
Deist as well as Freemasons.
Rosslyn Chapel- As strange chapel in Scotland. It was dedicated by a member of the Sinclair family. The chapel depicts all types of plants that come from the Americas such as corn and aloe vera. The chapel was built in the early 1400’s, before Columbus came to America.
Rennes Le Chateau- A village in France. It is said that a priest Berringer Saunier found something secret there and became rich over night. The legend has it that he found some documents that were harmful to the church and was paid off to protect the secret.

According to legend he was a German Monk who traveled to the Middle and Near East, the
Holy Land, and North Africa during the Middle Ages. He supposedly gained some type of esoteric knowledge and the wisdom of the ancient mystery religions. When he returned to
Europe, he sought to REFORM the old philosophies and religion (Catholicism). He chose 3 disciples who would eventually move on and choose 3 of their own students and keep the

teaching of Rosencreutz secret for 100 years. CRC died in 1484, 1 year after the birth of Martin
Luther the German monk who became the Protestant Reformer. Some say that CRC was a
German aristocrat who was raised in a monastery. CRC is a pseudonym. Upon his death he was buried in a secret tomb. His body was found about 120 years later and on his tomb the words “ I will appear after 120 years” were carved. As if he knew he would be found in that span of time.
Martin Luther as I stated was born 1 yr. After the death of CRC and was also a monk, a
German, and a reformer. His symbol was the ROSE-CROSS.

Martin Luther- German monk. Leader of the protestant Reformation. Born I year after the death of CRC. This reformation created a rift and break with the Catholic Church.
Order of the Dragon (Drakul/Dracula)- Also known as Order of the Defeated Dragon. The Holy
Christian Order of Knights in Trnasylvania.The dragon was defeated by St. George. The dragon was supposed to have lived in a pagan land, and plagued its inhabitants constantly. St. George defeated him and ushered in Christianity. The defeated dragon is associated with paganism or in some cases Satanism.
St. Bernard of Clairvaux- A Cistercian monk. He wrote the rule for the Knights Templars and was said to be nephew of one of the orders founders.
Sirius and the Dogon- The Dogon people of Mali, knew about the presence of a collapsed star before most astronomers had even discovered it. The Dogon are said to have come from the stars. One legend says that a man or being from the stars taught them all of the hidden knowledge that they know. The name Dogon, Sirius and dog are all realted. The word dog has obscure origins and can only be found in the Germanic word dockya (pronouced like dogya, as in Dogon). Does that mean that the tribe is named after the Dog Star or has the Dog Star as its origin?

The Astrology of the Nativity- 3 Kings= 3 Magi = the 3 Stars in Orion’s Belt , Orion the
Hunter = Herod, Sirius = the Star in the East = the Dog Star, The Crux = the Cross, The Sun = the Son, the Solstice = the Death and rebirth of the Son (sun). The 3 Kings follow the star in the East, as they “follow” they eventully meet the son. Later the son dies and then is reborn.
The actual sun appears to die or stop moving in the sky around December 21 in the constellation known as the Crux (cross), and then the sun begins to move or come to life again and is born on December 25.
666- The number of the beast. In Rev. 13:18, 666 is the number of a man, not Satan. God created the world in 6 days and then rested. Man is allowed 6 days to work and the 7 th
(Sabbath=Saturday) as a day set aside for God. The beast makes everyone take a “number” and no one can buy or sell without it. They are made to wear it upon their hand or head. This sounds like a computer chip or some type of an identification implant. This may be used as an I.D., or credit card, once we develop a cashless society.

The days of the Tzolkin and the Haab coincided with each other. Certain days on both calendars would not meet up again until a round of 52 years had passed. For example 1 Pop (Haab) and
14 Imix (Tzolkin) would not coincide again until a full round had passed.
The 52 year cycle was associated with the return of Quetzalcoatl and hailed the coming of the conquistador Hernan Cortes.

Festivals, Holidays, and Special Days
December 25 th
- Part of the season known as Yule in Germanic countries, and Saturnalia in ancient Rome. This is a time in order to worship the gods of light and the sun, such as Mithras.
It was also part of the winter solstice celebration to call the sun to return after the winter. This is not the real birthday of Jesus Christ. It was chosen by the pagan Roman emperor Constantine and the early Catholic Church as the day of Jesus birth in order to merge it with paganism.
December 25 th
is also the period of “the return of the Sun” or the Return of the Son. Around the time between December 21-24 the sun appears to stop moving. At this time it is farthest away from the heavenly or celestial equator. The “eastern star” Sirius (the Dog Star) is at its brightest in the sky and matches up with the stars in the constellation the Hunter or Orion/Nimrod. The 3 stars of Orion’s Belt are also known in French as Les Trois Rois or The 3 Kings as in the Magi.
At this time the sun looks like is has stopped over in a sign in the southern hemisphere called the Crux, meaning the cross. Therefore, December 25 th
is the time period when a bright star appears in the sky, 3 kings/stars follow/match up with it, the sun/son stops living/moving, while on/in the sign of the cross, then it returns/is resurrected/reborn.
December 21- The winter solstice. This was a time when the so called pagans of the pre-
Christian world did rituals to call the sun to return to the earth. The date can also be traced back to the Germanic/Scandinavian/Teutonic "Yuletide". Many Christmas songs mention Yule in their lyrics. The Yule log was burned as a way to call back the retreating sun during the harsh
North European winter.
Saturnalia- December 17 th
. The feast of “Father Time”. The feast of Saturn. Saturn was the god

of seeds and sowing. During this festival the roles were reversed and people lived in an “in between” existence. Reason and logic were cast aside for a limbo period.
Brumalia- The shortest day of the year. When the sun appears for the least amount of hours.
Easter- A fertility holiday in honor of the goddess Eostre (Astarte = star). The name
Eostre/Astarte is also associated with the goddesses Ishtar/Isis/Astarot. Their symbol is also the the rabbit. It also occurs around the Vernal equinox (equal night), that falls around March/April, these months are connected with the Roman deity Mars, who is the god of agriculture, war, and fertility. This has nothing to do with Jesus’ passion or resurrection. Once again it was chosen by the church as a way to merge paganism into the former Jewish sect of Christianity. It usually coincides with the Jewish Passover festival. Passover was the holiday that Jesus and the apostles were celebrating during "The Last Supper". One legend about the goddess Eostre says that she changed a bird into a rabbit. This rabbit was still able to lay eggs like a bird. This is why the Easter Bunny, instead of a bird, delivers eggs in a basket on Easter.
Halloween- All Hallows Eve. The old pagan holiday of Samhain. This was a time when the portal between worlds were opened and spirits roamed the earth. People dressed up in costumes in order to scare away the spirits.It was also a way to help wayward spirits to crossover.
All Saints Day- November the 1 st
the day after Halloween. A day to commemorate the dead and martyred saints of the Catholic Church. Like Halloween it is associated with death.

All Souls Day- November 2 nd
. A day to commemorate the dead leaving this realm for the other one (whatever that may be).
Dia de los Muertos- A Mexican Holiday that coincides with Halloween, All Saints, and All
Souls Day. It is a way to honor dead relatives and the dead in general. The skeleton and skull imagery goes back to Aztec times.
Mardi Gras- Mardi(Tuesday) Gras(fat/fleshly) Also known as Carnival in New Orleans.
Carnival goes back to the Roman holidays and means “a farewell to the flesh”. Mardi Gras is the time to indulge in carnal pleasure before the advent of the Lent holiday. Mardi Gras is celebrated throughout the streets of New Orleans and other parts of Louisiana and other Gulf states. The various krewes who participate are considered by some to be secret societies, which practice rites and rituals. Most are benevolent associations. Yet, it is true that New Orleans is
INUNDATED (flooded) with secret groups, societies,krewes,voodoo cults, cults, paganism and fraternal orders. Even some of their housing projects have classical pagan names, such as
Calliope. According to Greco-Roman legends, carnival is also a time when the underworld is opened up and the goddess Persephone/Kore restores the earth to fertility/spring after the barren, harsh winter. Mardi Gras usually occurs after winter just before spring, as if to call the goddess back from the underworld.
*The goddess Persephone was the daughter of Ceres( as icereals/grains=agriculture/vegetation).
She was kidnapped by Hades the rule of the underworld. Her mother mourns for her and every plant dies, and humanity begins to starve. While in the underworld Persephone eats 3 pomegranate seeds. Zeus feels sorry for humanity and persuades Hades to release Persephone.
He agrees, but since she ate the fruit, she has to spend at least 3 months a year (winter) with him. When she returns the earth is once again plentiful. Therefore, Carnival is a time to party and indulge, while winter is time for self denial.
*Mardi Gras is a reenactment of the Eleusian Mysteries of ancient Greece.
Friday the 13 th - Considered to be bad luck. This number is so feared that many buildings do not even have a 13 th
floor or they build only up to 12 or beyond 13. They don’t stop at 13. The day actually goes back to the execution of the Knights Templars on Friday, October the 13 th
.

St. Valentines Day- The Roman pagan holiday, Lupercalia. Lupercalia honors the she-wolf that suckled Romulus and Remus, the founders of Rome. On this day young men and women would chose mates by drawing lots. Also known as Februa ( as in February). This is also a time of fertility rites and carnal lusts. During this time men would run around dressed like wolves
(luper/lupus) and “whip” young women to make them fertile. The symbols were Cupid(Eros).
Eros is also the root for the word erotic. It became associated with St. Valentine who was martyred on February 14, circa 269/270 A.D. There are two men named Valentine. 1)Bishop of
Interamna who was martyred. 2) A physician and priest in Rome, who was also martyred. They may be the same person. Valentine defied a Roman decree against marriages being performed for a certain period of time. He was known to perform marriages for people who wanted to get married in secret. This gave him his legendary association with love and lovers.
Passover- A Jewish celebration of the passing over of the angel of death. The angel of death was visited upon the first born of Egypt (according to Exodus). Therefore it is a celebration of the death of innocent children. The slaughter of the Egyptian first born was no different from the Slaughter of the Innocents during the time of both Moses and Jesus.

Chapter 10
The Inner Sanctum
The Soul-The inner divine (god like) spark which keeps us alive. The soul is immortal. This is why "Satan" or the "devil" is always after it. It is the part of God that is in each of us.
The Ka and Ba- In Egyptian religion, there was more than one concept referring to the afterlife and ones soul or spirit. The Ka is the essence of an individual’s personality. The Ba is your spirit. The Ba was often portrayed as a falcon or a hawk or a human head with a hawks body.
The hawk represents the flight of the spirit to the afterlife.
Spirits/elementals- The earth, planets, satellites (such as moons), stars,etc., all have types of entities dwelling on or within them. They are unseen and are living beings just like the planets are. They inhabit rocks, trees, and all forms of life. They have knowledge of themselves and therfore are alive.
Blood- Blood always plays an important role in sacrifices and binding agreements. Blood is considered part of the life- force. Blood is made as an offering to gods upon alters and also ritually let from the body. In some cases, as in Exodus, animal’s blood is a form of protection
(from the angel of death). In some cultures blood of enemies or even animals was drank in order to absorb their strength. In fact the word blessed comes from a Germanic word meaning to anoint with blood.

Monad- From the Greek word meaning, unit. The monad is a symbol for something uncreated, unmade, not begotten by any means. It is the same as the idea that God was not created by anything, but itself. It is all, it is one. In science the monad is considered 1) an indesructible unit 2) a single celled organism 3) a monovalent element, such as an atom.
*monovalent= single value
Third Eye- The idea of an invisible "eye" in the center of the forehead. It really means seeing the unseen with your psychic "eye" or inner self.
Sixth Sense- Like the "third eye" it is a way of seeing or sensing something that is unseen by this reality.
Danse Macabre- From the Middle Ages.The dance of death. Also part of the “Vanitas” theme in art. The idea that death is an equalizer. No matter what class you are a part of, you can not escape it. The dance was depicted in art with a skeleton and individuals whom represented worldly society. It was meant to represent the frailty of life and the material world.
Eros- The god of love. The archetypal symbol of love, sex, human desire to explore sexuality.
Primal lust. The need to be attractive and wanted. The word erotic is derived from Eros.
Thanatos- Archetype of aggression, repression, destruction, struggle.
Phaeton- A symbol for the over indulged child. In Greek mythology Phaeton is the offspring of

the sun god Helios and a mortal woman. When he finds out that his father is allegedly the sun god, he sets out to find him. When he does he confronts him and asks if it is true. Helios affirms it and tells him that he will prove it to him, by giving him anything he asks for. He asks to rive the sun chariot (which was not meant for mortals). He regrets saying this, but gives in. Phaeton drives the chariot and looses control and falls to his death.
Phaeton= Spoiled children Helios= over indulgent parents
Labyrinths and Mazes- The labyrinth is commonly known as a maze. The word labyrinth comes from the Greek word labyres, meaning double axe ( a moon symbol). It refers to the fertility rites that were carried out in the labyrinth. In mythology, the Minotaur (bull man of
Minos/Crete) lived in the labyrinth. Every year, youths from Thebes were sent as a sacrifice to the Minotaur. The design of the "maze" was said to have been created by Daedalus. The hero
Theseus defeated the Minotaur and with a string found his way back out through the maze. As for fertility, the labyrinth is the path to the womb of the goddess. The womb is also associated with the tomb. Womb=a place of birth, transition into life Tomb= a place of death or resurrection.
The labyrinth also represents the journey of the self. Each twist and turn represents the phases of life and all of its obstacles, options, and courses. It is a route to self discovery or even self recovery.
The difference between a labyrinth and maze is this.....
Labyrinths have one way in and out.
Mazes have one way in and various paths out and also dead ends.
The labyrinth has the one course that eventually leads to the center. A maze is misleading, but the labyrinth leads you to your true self or true path.
Man in the Maze- Known to the Tohono O’odhom people as Iltoi, I’itoi or the man in the maze. He is considered as one of the early culture bearers of the area and brought the Pima and
Papago people from the inner earth. He is always depicted in the opening or “door” of the maze.
As if to be a beacon on the rode to knowledge or enlightenment.

Shapeshifters, Skinwalkers, etc,,..- The ability to change shapes from a human to an animal. In
Navajo religion, a skinwalker is a type of a witch. They can also turn into other individuals by staeling their skin.
Lycanthropy- Werewolf.
Doppelganger- A double, evil twin, “doublewalker”. A dopple ganger is sometimes seen in the peripheral vision. These are usually omens of danger. They do not have a reflection, and are sometimes created by magic.

Sun and 2012 The Real Y2K- The Maya Calendar cycle began on 3114
B.C. The end of the cycle is to occur around 2012 A.D. Mesoamerican cultures believe that we are living in the era of the 4 th
or 5 th
sun. This means that every cycle of time begins with a Sun, and as that sun “burns out”, so will that cycle. What does the slow loss of sunpower mean.....?
Weather changes? Or is the “sun” our manmade satellite that may one day in the near future be damaged and shut down? If so, then that means a shutdown of all forms of technology that are
“connected” to it.
Star worship- The worship in stars, comets, meteorites, etc. as deities. For example the worship of the Eastern star, the fallen star, Sirius, the 3 Kings (Orion’s belt), etc.

Miscellaneous Symbols, etc,,..
Santa Claus- Father Christmas. “Old St. Nick” is a combination of two legends/myths. 1) St.
Nicholas was a wealthy young man who gave his money to charity, and eventually became the
Bishop of Myra. He was said to have provided dowries for a poor man who had 3 daughters.
He was born somewhere around Asia Minor(Turkey) and is not of European origin. 2) In
Nordic legend he was a wizard or a magician who rewarded good children with presents, and punished bad ones. The two legends were merged to create our modern version called St.
Nicholas/Santa Claus. St. Nick was martyred in the month of December. Hence the association with Christmas.
The Christmas Tree- Offshoot of the world tree, tree of life and Thor’s Oak.
Vesica Piscis- Two circles interlocking representing the goddess. Also represents the division of a cell in two. The separation from one being into two like Adam and Eve.
Jack O’Lantern- This goes back to Scotch-Irish legends about a trickster named “stingy Jack”.
He was said to be a mean drunk, lazy, stingy, and one of the best tricksters that ever lived. He played tricks on people all of the time. He even tricked the Devil into climbing a tree, and put crucifixes all around so that the Devil was stuck in the tree. The devil pleaded to get down and made a deal with Jack. He wanted to keep his own soul when he died, and did not want to turn it over to the Devil. The Devil agreed, as long as he could get back to his normal “routine”.
When Jack died, he met an

angel at the gates of heaven, and was rejected. He went to hell, but the Devil sent him back, due to their deal. He had to walk around limbo forever in the dark. He pleaded with the Devil for light, and was tossed a spark from an ember. He placed it in a hollow pumpkin and kept as his lantern forever.
* the Irish originally used potatoes or turnips. They used pumpkins in America.
Celtic Cross- A form of the Cruz Ansata.
Ankh- Also called the Cruz Ansata and the Egyptian cross. This is the true cross. The ankh represents everlasting life as opposed to the Christian cross, which represents torture and death.
It is known as the “Key to Life”. It is like a key that “opens” up knowledge for the true improvement of humanity.
Fleur de Lys- This is an ancient symbol, and is very popular in the French culture and other ones derived from the ( French-Canadian, Cajun, Creole, etc.). The word means flower of L’isa
(Isis). The symbol can be traced back to lilies, which are another goddess symbol. The Fleur de
Lis is also similar to the Egyptian Djet symbol.
The (Frankish) Merovingian Dynasty of France first used it as symbol of their royalty. They are the family that is associated with the Holy Grail legends.
* The name Paris (as in Paris, France) comes from the original word Par-Isis or Parisidos and was named for the Egyptian goddess Isis.
Djet- Also known as the Buckle of Isis. It is similar to the ankh, yet the arms slant downward. It is also a representation of a type of a flower. It almost looks like an ancient version of the fleur de lis.

Caduceus- The winged staff that is associated with the god Mercury. Also a symbol for
Asclepios, who was a human physician turned into a god. Because of this reason it is used as a symbol for doctors, medicine, hospitals, and healthcare. The staff also contains two intertwined serpents and wings. In esoteric circles, it represents Hermes or Thoth the god of magic, wisdom, science, and writing. Symbols such as this can be traced back to ancient Assyria, Mesopotamia, and ultimately, Egypt. They are usually symbols of knowledge, power, healing, and royalty. In many cultures the snake is a keeper of wisdom. In modern times snake venom has been used as anti-venoms and medicine. In some parts of Mexico, pulverized rattle snake is used as an all body healer.
* Moses’ staff was also a serpent.
Swastika- The ancient Indo-Aryan sun wheel. Represents the sun god. Also used by Native
Americans. This benevolent symbol will forever go down in history as the symbol of Adolf
Hitler, the Nazi’s, and the (Jewish) Holocaust.
Trident-The 3 pronged symbol of Neptune, Triton, and Poseidon. Trident- tri = 3 dent/dant/dont
= teeth
The trident was once used as a symbol of Cristianity. Later, it became the pitchfork of the devil.
Rx- is known as a symbol for medicine, pharmacies, and pharmaceuticals. It is really the CHI-
RHO symbol. The X is known as Chi(X) and the P is ( R or Rho). The x is pronounced like a ch, as in Xmas (Christmas) and Xing (crossing). The two letters as mentioned before represent the first two consanants of the name Christ. This is also the symbol that Constantine said that he saw in the sky.

Jolly Roger/Skull and Crossbones- Symbol for piracy. Also a Knights Templar symbol.
Sphinx- The sphinx of Egypt has lions body and a human face. It was originally a whole lion representing the goddess Sekmet. When the earlier pre-pharonic culture of Egypt fell, the new civilization may have resculpted the face to depict its new ruler
Black cat/White cat-Black cats are usually considered bad luck. In reality it is not the cat who is bad luck, but the omen. The cat is there to warn you about something about to happen.
A white cat is a warning or a symbol of a spirit nearby.
Eye of Ra/Eye of God- The all seeing eye.
Rose- Goddess symbol. Fertility. Venus/ the Virgin Mary.
Star-Goddess symbol. The pentagram. Same as the rose.
Hand of God/Hand of Fatima/Hemesh- power symbol. Divinity. Goddess. God has a hand on everything.

The Ram- Virility. The Aries. Lamb of God.
Three dots (tattoo)- Mi Vida Loca (My Crazy Life). At one time mostly popular with Chicano gang memebers. The symbol spread to other Latinos, members of teenaged urban clubs, cliques, gangs, etc, of all races.
Cross Tattoos- Usually associated with Chicano and later other Latin gangs. Yet, the tradition of tattooing crosses on the face, hands, and other body parts can be traced to Ethiopia and also southern Louisiana (especially around New Orleans).
The Horned Hand- A satanic symbol. The middle and ring finger bent, with the thumb holding them down. In high school friends of mine would “throw up” the symbol to show their appreciation for rock (esp. Heavy Metal) music. When formed by the left hand, it is an occult symbol.
The Moon Sign- The witch’s symbol. The index, middle, and ring finger bent. Thumb and pinky upward. Some use it to mean “hang loose” (surfers and locals from Hawai’i).
The Goat- Virility, sexual knowledge (see Baphomet)
Caves-The womb of the earth. Fertility rites and other rituals occur in caves. Opening to the center of the earth, the underworld.
