Major Fields of Research: Archaeology of the Eastern Mediterranean from the
Bronze age to Archaic period. Fieldwork at the sites of Troy and Seddülbahir in
Turkey. Research interests include the study of social complexity, ancient architecture
and spatial arrangements, and the function of ceramics in feasting and ritual.
