Decree-Law No. 21 of 1973 Granting a Soldier Premium to Members of the Military and Police Forces and the Coast Guard 21 / 1973 Number of Articles: 4 Table of Content Articles (1-4) We, Khalifa Bin Hamad Al-Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, Having perused the Amended Provisional Constitution, in particular Articles 23, 27 and 34 thereof; Law No. 2 of 1962 regulating the public fiscal policy in Qatar; and The draft Decree-Law submitted by the Council of Ministers; Hereby promulgate the following: Articles Article 1 Members of the Coast Guard appointed with fixed salaries shall be transferred to the schedule of grades and salaries of members of the military and police forces. Article 2 (As amended by Law No. 17 of 1974, the Official Gazette7 of 1974) 1. Members of the military and police forces and the coast guard shall be granted a soldier premium of one hundred and fifty (150) Riyals per month. 2. Such premium shall not be granted in case of exchange of the social or local allowance or housing allowance. Article 3 The expenses necessary for the implementation of this Law shall be covered by the general reserve of the State. Article 4 All competent authorities, each in its jurisdiction, shall enforce this Law which shall come into force from 1 Rajab 1393 A.H. and shall be published in the Official Gazette.
