Service may include but is not limited to – early childhood centres, home based early childhood educational programmes. Fijian traditions refer to the traditional way that things are done. Outcomes and evidence requirements Outcome 1 Describe and implement traditional Fijian culture in a Fijian early childhood service. Range includes but is not limited to – dress, behaviour, language. Evidence requirements 1.1 Description of culture is in terms of Fijian traditions. 1.2 Implementation is in the traditional Fijian way. Outcome 2 Describe, implement, and demonstrate the Fijian style of learning, and act as a role model in a learning situation. Evidence requirements 2.1 The Fijian style of learning in terms of the customary teaching methods and the way resources are used is described and implemented in an early childhood service. 2.2 The Fijian role model is demonstrated in terms of dress, behaviour, and traditional Fijian ways of doing things in an early childhood service.
