Extensive experience teaching fine art to students ranging from 9th grade through graduate level. Areas of expertise
include steel sculpture and fabrication, painting, figure drawing, woodworking, interactive media, papermaking and 2D
design.
Experienced in an entire range of 2-D creation. Life drawing, concept art, portraiture, landscapes, etc.
Woodworking: carpentry and framing, fine finishing, cabinetry, panel and stretcher making, and nautical wood
construction.
Paints and solvents: uses and effects, proper safety and handling.
Resins, epoxies, fiberglass, and other non-traditional painting media: proper safety and handling

Nun’s Field, Mission Hill, MA. Obdurate Intervention. Work made in collaboration with the
Reclamation Artists’ Reclaiming Nun’s Field project. Entire project made up of individual artist’s
works located on disputed neighborhood land. All pieces were intended to be temporary, but the
neighborhood asked that Obdurate Intervention be left as a permanent installation.
2002
Faulkner / Freeman Public Garden, Dorchester, MA. Installation of permanent ceramic
tiles, as part of the City of Boston’s construction of this public garden. Additionally, two steel
sculptures were made, post-construction, to be situated on the site.

Electronic and Kinetic Sculpture – foundation skills
2005-2010
The School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston Welding Facility Manager, duties include
instruction of students, teaching of 3-4 classes per week, constructing curriculum, maintenance of
facility, ensuring safety of students, and their proper use of the equipment, building the
department’s budget yearly, as well as fixing all heavy equipment in-house. Additionally, duties
include supervision of up to 10 employees, and instruction of over 100 students each semester.
2005-2010
Assistant Director of Events, REAL LIVE ART, Boston, MA. Coordinate community arts
events; Seek grant funding and donations; Manage budget; Coordinate Press for all events;
Design all event materials (signs, banners, etc.); Organize participating communities; On-site
