Reported Speech and Quotation. Correct the 4 errors in the following paragraph.
I recently
saw a program on TV about a new exhibit of
traditional textiles and fabrics. The interviewer, a young
man, was talking with the exhibit’s organizer and asked
what did the exhibit include besides things like blankets
and clothing. The organizer explained, “That because
traditional textiles are rich in symbolism and color, they
have influenced certain artists.”
She told that because of this influence, the exhibit
included works by painters who had been influenced by
woven designs. I remember thinking at the time, “That’s
very interesting. I’d love to see this exhibit.” The
organizer added, “The show would continue until the end
of January.” I can’t wait to see it!

2. "We arrive at 6:30 tomorrow evening. Why don't you meet us in town for dinner?" Micah asked
Al.
A: Did you question your boss for the promotion as you said you
will?
B: Yes. I went right into her office last week. I sat down and said
Mica, I need to talk to you. I've been thinking about that new
management position. Then I said I think I am just the person you
are looking for.
A: How did she respond?
B: I'm not finished. Then I said to her all about my experience in
management, and why I think I was the best person for the job. She
seemed to agree with me. She said she needs to think about it a bit,
but that I am certainly a very strong candidate. She told me I must
submit an application by tomorrow. I said you will have it on your
desk first thing in the morning. Then she asked me do I have a
current resume?
A: That is great! Did you ask her when will they make their
decision?
B: Yes. She said that she wasn't sure what is the day but that it
would be very soon. She told me don’t delay.
