Jackson, Wyoming – July 11, 2007 – The ski experts at Rusty Parrot Lodge & Spa have
all the pesky details handled, so skiers can turn their attention to more important
matters: The steep chutes, vast bowls and enchanted forests and glades of some of
Jackson Hole’s finest backcountry. With its new five-night “No Hassle Heli-Skiing”
package, Jackson’s quintessential luxury lodge has arranged every aspect of the perfect
getaway to the Hole’s untracked wonders, including two days heli-skiing with High
Mountain Heli in the Bridger-Teton National Forest and two days skiing Jackson Hole
Mountain Resort’s benchmark 4,139 feet of vertical – as well as all the lodge’s trademark
comforts.
Available January 3 – March 30, 2008, “No Hassle Heli-Skiing” includes five
nights’ accommodations at the acclaimed Rusty Parrot Lodge, two days heli-skiing with
High Mountain Heli and two days skiing at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. Additional
perks include full chef-prepared breakfast daily, lunch at the Heli-deli while heli-skiing, a
gourmet meal at the Four Diamond-rated Wild Sage Restaurant, and one hour-and-ahalf Arnica Sports Massage per person. Price for the package is $2,850 per person,
double occupancy for a first-floor king or double king room, plus tax and resort fee.
Suite or king fireplace Jacuzzi rooms and additional heli-skiing days are available.
High Mountain Heli-Skiing’s new Bell 407 helicopter provides access to 305,000
acres south of the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, including all of the Snake River and
Palisades mountain ranges, and portions of the Hoback, Teton and Gros Ventre ranges.
A day of heli-skiing consists of six runs, approximately 12,000 -15,000 vertical feet,
transportation to the heli-pad, and Heli-Deli lunch. Rental powder skis (new Rossignol
Bandit B4’s) are recommended and available in High Mountain’s shop, and skiers fly in
groups of six – one guide and five guests.
