Morning
(Unsettled weather brings) Rain spreading from Aquitaine to the Ardennes. Showers along
the Channel coast and Southern Brittany.
Afternoon
Becoming changeable with some scattered showers in the Northern part/half of the country.
Sunny but windy around the Mediterranean.
Evening
Rain clearing/easing (quickly) with more sunny spells; clouds coming in from north west.
Night
Quiet dry night. (Rather) Chilly at dawn in north east.
Today : back to school in cloudy weather/a cloudy first day back (at school)
France
Monday : very cloudy in many regions of France; chance of a shower. More
changeable/unsettled near the Channel with heavy showers likely, especially before noon.
Slightly below seasonal temperatures/Temperatures rather low for the season
Back to school with autumn weather: west to north west winds throughout France. Due to a
lack of nocturnal radiation relatively high/pleasant temperatures – above 10° C or 50°F in all
low lying areas at dawn. Still relatively cool temperatures in the afternoon around 20°C or 68°
F all over France. Only the south eastern part of France should enjoy summery temperatures
of about 25°C or 77°F on the average, but with some wind.
