AFRICAN / INDIGENOUS SCHOLARSHIPS
African Community Scholarship
Two (2) scholarships of $1,000 each are available for students born in Africa now
resident in North Melbourne/Flemington/Kensington or surrounding area
FGB Natural Products Scholarship
One (1) scholarship of $500 is available for an indigenous student undertaking
vocational studies
APPRENTICESHIP SCHOLARSHIPS
Consolidated Insurance Agencies Scholarship
One (1) scholarship of $1,001 for a student undertaking an apprenticeship at TAFE
Grocon & VicUrban Scholarship
Four (4) scholarships of $2,500 and seven (7) scholarships of $1,000 (preapprenticeship training) for Dandenong residents only studying in the building and
construction, nursing, hair and beauty, horticulture, plumbing and automotive
industries (others areas considered)
Leon Riley Scholarship
Three (3) scholarships are available for apprentices resident on the Mornington
Peninsula or surrounding area to cover fees for a full three/four year apprenticeship
Rotary Berwick Scholarship
Two (2) scholarships are available for apprentices resident in Berwick or surrounding
area for a full three/four year apprenticeship
AUTOMOTIVE SCHOLARSHIPS
Tigertune
One (1) scholarship of $500 will be offered to a female apprentice at Chisholm
Institute, Frankston campus only undertaking automotive studies in 2011
BUSINESS
Business Studies Scholarship
One (1) scholarship of $1,163, one (1) scholarship of $1,200 and one (1) scholarship
of $500 are available for students undertaking a course in business studies
Roden Scholarship
One (1) scholarship of $1,500 is available to a student undertaking studies in
business or a related field at Chisholm Institute
Retail Scholarship
Four (4) scholarships of $1,042 are available to students undertaking studies in the
area of retail and commerce
HEALTH SCHOLARSHIPS
Community Health Scholarship
One (1) scholarship of $800 is available to a student undertaking studies in the
community services area
GENERAL ELIGIBILITY SCHOLARSHIPS
Chisholm Board of Directors Scholarship
One (1) scholarship of $2,000 is available to a student undertaking Diploma or
Advanced Diploma studies at Chisholm Institute
Grenda Scholarship
One (1) scholarship of $600 is available for a student undertaking studies
in Engineering, Manufacturing, Automotive, Transport and Logistics or Community
Services
International Women's Day Scholarship
One (1) scholarship of $2,000 is available to a female student undertaking Diploma
or Advanced Diploma studies at Chisholm Institute
Killen Scholarship
One (1) scholarship of $800 for a female student returning to study in the vocational
field
Peter Wylie Memorial Scholarship
One (1) scholarship of $500 is available for a student resident in the City of Knox or
surrounding area
Sue Polgar Memorial Scholarship
One (1) scholarship of $2,000 will be available to a newly arrived migrant undertaking
studies at Chisholm Institute
Virginia Simmons Perpetual Scholarship
One (1) scholarship of $1,500 is available to a student undertaking studies at
Chisholm Institute
HOSPITALITY SCHOLARSHIPS
Hospitality Scholarship
Four (4) scholarships of $1,000 are available to students undertaking Certificate,
Diploma or Advanced Diploma studies in culinary, events and hospitality
INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SCHOLARSHIPS
Avaxa Scholarship
Two (2) scholarships of $1,000 are available to students undertaking Certificate,
Diploma or Advanced Diploma studies in Computer/Information Technology courses
TRADE SCHOLARSHIPS
Engineering/Welding Scholarship
Four (4) scholarships of $980 are available for students undertaking studies in the
engineering industry
Trade Scholarship
One (1) scholarship of $1,032 is available for a student undertaking engineering or
building trade studies
South East Development TAFE Graduate Award
One (1) scholarship of $2,000 for a TAFE graduate continuing with further studies in
the manufacturing industry
Building/Construction Scholarship
One (1) scholarship of $1,542 and one (1) scholarship of $910 are available for
students undertaking building and construction studies
