CSPA Global Artefact Catalogue Framework Overview Introduction: Constraints/Questions Quality rich information and content resources are needed to support the vision for the CSPA Global Artefact Catalogue: We are not looking at acquiring any additional tooling initially (the Confluence Wiki (potentially utilising a plug-in) will be used for at minimum the ‘knowledge base’ , statistical services and Technical/Supporting services layers “A primary aim of CSPA is to support efficient sharing and reuse of process patterns, information and services at an organization and international level. One key requisite in achieving this goal is an ability to reliably and efficiently discover what is available for reuse to support a particular business need. This includes an ability to efficiently assess whether a potentially reusable artefact is, in fact, "fit for purpose" in practice when it comes to supporting that particular business need. Catalogues of reusable resources have a key role within CSPA. They provide lists and descriptions of standardized artefacts, and, where relevant, information on how to obtain and use them.” The Virtual Help Desk is already established Requirements for Technical/Supporting services should be a sub-set of those requirements currently detailed for Statistical Services Business Capabilities catalogue will be initially delivered by the SN BA project Questions Would the knowledge base be separate to the Virtual Help Desk (ie there maybe another layer to the model)? Will we progress the business plans and interest at this point – it is the key area that is not being addressed in any project at this time?
