Parenting Volunteering & Lobo Bucks

WHY VOLUNTEER?

o Because this post-prom safe party is for your child! o We need everyone’s help to make this AWESOME event possible! o To earn extra Lobo Bucks for your senior at the event! o To enjoy the camaraderie with your fellow senior parents as we carry on the traditions supported by Project Prom!

WHAT ARE LOBO BUCKS?

Lobo Bucks are the currency used for prize-winning chances in the casino at the event!

Lobo Bucks can be used to buy chips in the casino and any winnings are transferred to prizewinning chances at the end of the night! If they don’t want to play casino games, they can transfer their Lobo Bucks straight over to prize-winning chances for prizes. Everyone wants more Lobo Bucks!

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Each senior begins the night with 15,000 Lobo Bucks. Your senior will receive an additional

5,000 Lobo Bucks for every 5,000 volunteer points you accumulate. Your senior can use their Lobo Bucks to play casino games to earn even more Lobo Bucks. They may choose to convert their 15,000 without playing casino games. All Lobo Bucks are converted into chances to win prizes at a conversion rate of 5,000 Lobo Bucks = 1 raffle ticket.

HOW TO REPORT YOUR HOURS

Each committee chair will be responsible for submitting hours to Lily

Fanning (lilyfanning@yahoo.com) and Jude Sheikh

(Judith.sheikh@cfisd.net) by using the sheet provided to them that lists the volunteer name, student name in full, date, and hours worked.

Committee chairmen will be required to submit their sign in sheets no later than two weeks after their event is complete.

Hours will be accepted ONLY from the committee chair. If you have any questions or discrepancy with your hours, please contact the committee chair.

Everyone, including the committee chair, must complete a sign in sheet that has been provided for each meeting/event. This will be your supporting documentation for total hours submitted.
