This position will be part of the LMUK IT Applications team. The position requires the successful applicant to manage and support a comprehensive SAP environment for the LMUK business area. The applications team run SAP ECC6 but are planning to upgrade to S/4 HANA. Specific Job Description: Designing, developing, implementing and controlling the SAP ERP logistics module areas (specifically PP, QM and PM) to meet global and local legal/business requirements. Ensuring all core business requirements are maintained, new business needs are proactively supported, and new SAP functionality delivers business benefits. Assuring comprehensive regression testing is completed before changes are released to the production environments. Collaborate with other IT and functional team members to maintain/apply coherent, optimized, integrated, and standardized processes. Oversee the preparation of comprehensive lifecycle documentation required for all SAP support aspects (functional specs, technical spec, data maps, test plans, training documents, interface control documents, job schedules, etc.) Work with internal customers to assess new work and deliver existing projects. Technical leadership of the entire implementation effort during all project stages Assuring compliance with all local and corporate regulatory requirements (MoD, Lockheed Martin Camp+, Corporate Information Security) Identifying process specific risks and developing measures to ensure risks are adequately mitigated. Controlling and evaluating interface and conversion process risks from an operational and systems perspective. Collaborating with Information Security resources to ensure control decisions are factored into business process design. Planning, organizing and conducting SAP demonstrations and workshops for key LMUK stakeholders, customers, and management. Prepare training plans per agreed upon control solutions. Assess new requirements with clients , hosting workshops to elicit requirements, overseing the production of requirements Managing projects in line with internal processes , giving feedback to coleagues and management Provides direction to subordinates based on general policies and management guidance. Review Work upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives. Recommends modifications to operating policies. Required Skills: Experience with the SAP ERP 6.0, Aerospace and Defense (A&D) industry, and other related SAP solutions. Experience implementing solutions for Manufacturing and Shop Floor environments, specifically within the PP, QM and PM modules: Materials Requirements Planning, Production Order Management, Rework, Production Master Data, Engineering Change Management, Document Management, Barcoding, Quality Planning (Inspection Plans, Quality Information Records) and Quality Inspection (Goods Receipt, In process, Defect Recording, Notifications) Understanding of integration to other modules: MM, SD, PS, FICO. SAP project and change management experience. Effective verbal, written, and presentation communication skills Desirable Skills Experience with SAP User Experience (UX) technologies – Fiori/UI5, SAP Screen Personas, ABAP WebDynPro, custom SAPGUI-based ABAP screens. Experience with the ABAP Programming and Workbench environment. Experience with interface technologies – BAPIs, Odata, SAP Gateway, RFCs. Experience with SAP custom development techniques and output technologies (User Exits, Enhancements, Smart Forms, SAPScript).
