Out and About in South West London – Internet Resources
Between January and April 2013 a group of U3A members under the leadership of
Sue Leigh, undertook a Shared Learning Project to explore local places of interest
in four Boroughs of south west London (Kingston, Merton, Richmond and
Wandsworth). The aim of the project was to produce a brochure which would
provide a useful resource for U3A members. The team investigations produced a
wealth of information, including the wide range of internet sources that are detailed
below. This list is not exhaustive but should be a good starting point.
The places of interest are listed in alphabetical order under the following headings.
Where the borough location is not apparent from the name of the venue, this has
been indicated alongside. Either click on the relevant link to get to a website or copy
and paste the web address into your browser to get the information you need to go
“Out and about in South West London”.
