Laboratory Lecturer Position Announcement Texas A&M University Department of Engineering Technology and Industrial Distribution The Department of Engineering Technology and Industrial Distribution (ETID) at Texas A&M University is seeking one full-time Laboratory Lecturer, non-tenure track faculty. This position requires teaching laboratories associated with undergraduate courses in the Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering Technology (MMET) program in ETID. Other responsibilities include coordinating MMET Laboratories to ensure quality laboratory experiences for students, coherent and relevant content among different course laboratories, and training of new laboratory instructors. All non-tenure-track position openings are subject to budgetary availability, student enrollment needs, programmatic needs, and turnover rates. Candidates must have graduate degrees in engineering, technology or a closely related field, relevant industrial experience, and a passion for teaching. Candidates with B.S. degrees with exceptional industrial and teaching experience will also be considered. Preference will be given to applicants with significant experience with equipment, instrumentation and software in one or more of the following areas: manufacturing processes, welding, assembly and joining, materials testing, automation, CAD/CAM/CNC, metrology, NDI, fluid power, thermal systems.
