Columbus State Community College www.cscc.edu

Come and see the new Regional Learning Center, Reynoldsburg Campus, and possibly register for a course. The Reynoldsburg

Center opens January 2013 (Spring Semester), bringing a new level of educational opportunities to the area. Co-located with

Reynoldsburg High School, the center includes classrooms, labs and an exciting new Health Sciences lab. Students can complete their general education requirements, take health careers courses such as Nurses Aide, and get advising help. Classes begin January 14, 2013.

Free Medical Clinic

The clinic is dedicated to serving the needs of residents who are unable to pay for health care and offer routine medical care at no charge including: work physicals, health screenings, and treatment for non-emergency illnesses. Vision screenings are also available.

Free Computer Clinic

Come in on the first Wednesday of each month for one hour free consultation or repair. The clinic is open from 6:30 PM to

8:30 PM. The owner, or legal guardian of owner, must be present for us to work on their computer and able to sign a liability waiver. There is no limit to how many times a person can come during the year. We service both Apple and PCs.

Free Legal Clinic

Everyone who comes to the clinic and who has a qualified need will have an opportunity to meet with an attorney. Because of the limited number of volunteer attorneys and paralegals, we cannot undertake every case that comes before us. Therefore, you may expect one of the following results: advice we can give to resolve the problem, an attorney may take your case and work until resolved, or we may refer you to another agency for assistance. Primarily serve people in the lower income bracket.

Free Tax Clinic

No appointment needed, clients are taken in the order they arrive. Please bring with you bank paperwork (mortgage interest, property tax), W-2, 1099, retirement, Social Security, charitable contributions, unemployment, childcare expenses with EIN or

Social Security of who paid, medical expenses, rental information plus proof of any quarterly tax payments, student load interest, tuition payments and last year’s tax return. Please note we provide this free service to those who have lower than a

$50,000 household income.

Free Auto Care Clinic

Provides free diagnostic analysis and a twenty-one point inspection to help evaluate a person’s most important car repair needs.

First Wednesday of the month, 6:30 - 8:30 PM. (Weather permitting) Clients are taken in the order they arrive. There is no limit to how many times a person can come during the year. The owner must be present for us to inspect their vehicle. We do

NOT do on site repairs but can recommend trusted auto mechanic shops.

Donations of good clean used clothing and household items are always appreciated. Volunteers help by sorting and folding donated clothing, and assisting with distribution. Joseph's Coat is staffed every Saturday morning and every Wednesday morning from 9:00am until noon and on Tuesday evenings between 6pm and 8pm.

HEART stands for “Helping Eastside and Reynoldsburg neighbors Today.” The HEART Food Pantry opened its doors for the first time on November 12, 2011 to supplement and expand on what the Reynoldsburg Helping Hands food pantry is already doing in the community. Every month Messiah volunteers help stock shelves and assist clients shopping for food.

Messiah also collects food and funds to keep the pantry running.

Plus, you can use the OBB to file your federal, state, and school district taxes absolutely free. Veterans can receive help accessing the education benefits they have earned, and anyone can get assistance in completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid

(FAFSA) to help with the costs of higher education. The Ohio Benefit Bank is a program of the Ohio Association of

Foodbanks, Ohio’s largest charitable response to hunger.

Eastland-Fairfield Career & Technical Schools offers nearly 40 programs for a student to choose from while still in high school.

Not only do the programs prepare students for further study, but many also allow students to earn college credit or enter college with advanced standing.

Free classes for individuals age 18 and over who do not have an F1 VISA. Classes are offered September through May for various skill levels. You must: Attend Eastland Career Center orientation, Complete a skill assessment, Participate in appropriate level classes. Mount Carmel Health Station

The Mount Carmel Health Station will have some information on the Health Stations sliding scale eligibility, the Mount

Carmel Medication Assistance Program, Mount Carmel Community Resources flyer (free care in different areas), Lifecare

Alliance’s free nutrition and exercise program, and some health education handouts such as high blood pressure, cholesterol, diabetes, flu, flu vaccinations etc.

Our Clinical Services program is designed to help children, youth, and families through difficult times. Through counseling and supportive services we offer enhancement in specific areas of need and in times of crisis. Clinical Services offers an alternative to traditional office-based counseling by working within the home, school, and community to facilitate mental health recovery in children and adolescents.
